NIIFT, Mohali: Applications will be invited by Northern Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses for academic session 2018. 2. Sc Textile Design- 60 seats
3. Sc Fashion Design (knits) – 60 seats

Postgraduate courses

1. SC in Garment Manufacturing Technology
2. SC in Fashion Marketing And Management

Eligibility Criteria

For UG

• Candidate should have done 10+2 from any recognized board.
• Candidates having General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri- Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates holding 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education are eligible to apply for UG admissions.

For PG

Candidates should have passed graduation in any related stream from recognized institute or university.

Reservation criteria

Reservation criteria are as follows:

• Schedule caste (SC) – 25%
• Physically handicapped – 3%
• Foreign National/ NRI-7 seats
• General-rest of the seats

NIIFT 2018 Application Form: How to apply?

Application forms are available through both online as well as offline modes.

For Online

• For online application, candidates have to visit the official website of NIIFT i.e. niiftindia.com or www.applyadmission.net. The detailed procedure is available on the website.
• Fill the application form by going through the official website link.
• Candidates have to fill personal details like name, parent’s name and qualification details very carefully and accurately.
• After filling in the application, candidates have to proceed for the payment of application fee. Payment for application fee can be made via Credit card//debit card/net banking or they can send fee via Demand draft drawn in favor of NIFT Mohali
• Now send the printout out of duly filled in application form along with photograph pasted on it and demand draft ( if applicable ) to The Manager CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-11000 before the due date.

For offline application

The application form along with information booklet can be accessible on payment of Rs.500/- in person and Rs 600/- via post through cash or Demand Draft from all the designated centres of NIIFT.  Candidates can also avail the applications from the selected branches of HDFC Banks. Admission form duly filled along with the DD of fee mentioned below in favor of NIIFT Mohali, payable at Mohali should be sent to The Director, NIIFT, opposite DIC, Phase -1, Industrial Area Mohali (Punjab).

Application Fee

1. General candidates have to pay Rs.1750/-either direct online payment through Debit card/ credit card / net banking to AIMA or in form of DD of Rs.1750/- in favor of NIIFT Mohali.
2. Candidates belonging to SC / PHP Category have to pay Rs.440/-either direct online payment through Debit card/ credit card /net banking to AIMA or in form DD of Rs.440/- drawn in favour of NIIFT Mohali.
3. NRI candidates required to make payment of USD 100 vide Demand Draft in favor of NIIFT Mohali.

Admit card

NIIFT admit card will be available online. Candidates can download their admit card by entering application form no or date of birth. Admit card will comprise important details like candidate’s name, roll no, exam schedule, examination center venue etc.

Admission Process

The selection of candidate to the desired course will be based strictly on merit and seats in program and authority would be offered as per merit during the counseling

Counseling

Selected candidates have to attend counseling process on the scheduled date and time at NIIFT campus Mohali. The schedule for NIIFT Counselling will be available on official website.
