Application Form

Candidates can obtain the information booklet with prescribed application forms in person from the Receptionist, Administrative Building, Permanent Campus, Shillong-793022 or from the office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, NEHU, Tura Campus, Tura-794002 on payment of necessary application fee through University Challan.

The admission forms may also be accessible from NEHU website i.e. www.nehu.ac.in and duly filled-in application form completed in all respects along with the copy of e-challan of the required amount can be submitted to the respective Head of Departments, NEHU, Permanent Campus, Mawkynroh-Umshing – 793022, Shillong or NEHU, Tura Campus, Chandmari -794002, Tura.

About North Eastern Hill University

Established in the year 1973, North Eastern Hill University commonly called NEHU is a Central University located in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university was set up by an Act of the Indian Parliament as a regional university for the states of northeast India, including Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Mizoram.

NEHU has two campuses one at Chandmari, Tura and another at Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong. The University at 16^th at the national level ranks according to the India Today “AC-Nielsen Best Universities Survey of 2012” and at 11^th at the leading Central Universities.
