NCVT CTI Stands for National Council of Vocational Training Craft Instructor Training. It is a course for craft instructors managed by the Directorate General of Training. The aim of this training is to make instructor trainees conversant with techniques of transferring hands-on skills and to train skilled manpower for the industry. Please note that NCVT has made it mandatory for all trainers in ITI to complete this course.

Presently, these courses are available in a variety of fields including engineering and non-engineering courses. Those who want to apply need to fill and submit the application form before the last date. The application process will take place online. NCVT CTI 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they meet the following eligibility norms before filling the form.

Age Criteria

  • There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

  • Those who are looking to apply must ensure that they hold a NTC/ NAC (NCVT certificate in relevant trade) or Diploma / Degree from a recognized Board of Technical Education/University or equivalent.
  • You should also note that CITS course is subjected to the successful completion of their training under CTS. In case they are unable to clear the CTS final examination they will not be able to continue the CITS course.
  • Please note that SCVT and CoE candidates are not eligible

NCVT CTI 2022 Application Form

Candidates need to submit the application form in online mode. Those who are looking to apply may visit the official website to access the application form. The complete process is explained below.

  • On the official website, you will register by providing your email address and mobile number.
  • Once registered, you may sign in by entering the credentials generated during registration.
  • Now, the main application form will display on your screen.
  • In the main application form, you need to provide the following details.
    • Personal Details – Applicant’s Name, Date of birth, Father/ Husband/ Guardian Name, Mother Name, Gender, Category, Physically Challenged, Ex-servicemen, Martial Status, Mobile Number, etc.
    • Address Details – Permanent Address, Permanent City, Permanent State, District, Correspondence Address, etc.
    • Educational Details – ITI Certificate Number, Certificate Type, ITI Trade, etc.
  • In addition to this, candidates also need to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
  • It is compulsory for all candidates to pay the required application fee as per their category.
  • Finally, take a printout of the application form submitted and keep it safe for future requirements.

Application Fee

  • SC and ST candidates – Rs. 300/-
  • General and all other candidates – Rs. 500/-

Mode of payment: Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

NCVT CTI Admission 2022 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

  • Directorate General of Training will release the CTI exam admit card online through the official website of the university.
  • To download the admit card, you need to enter your registration detail and other necessary details.
  • The admit card will carry important information including date, time, and venue of the examination.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
  • Along with the admit card, it is necessary for candidates to one photo ID proof to the examination centre.
  • Keep the admit card safely even after the exam for future references.

NCVT CTI Examination Pattern 2022

The pattern of NCVT CTI Entrance Examination is given below.

  • Mode of examination – Online (Computer based test)
  • Number of questions – 100
  • Type of questions – Objective type MCQ
  • Duration of the exam – 2 hours
  • Distribution of questions
    • 75% questions of objective type (multiple choice type) of ITI level related to the trade applied for admission.
    • 25% questions of objective type pertaining to Aptitude (Logical, Numeric and Reasoning).

Result

  • The result of NCVT CTI Admission 2022 will release in online mode.
  • In order to check the result, aspirants need to enter their registered email and mobile numbers.
  • The information about the subject-wise and total marks secured by candidates will be mentioned on the result card.
  • Those who will score more than qualifying marks will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
  • The minimum marks that every candidate needs to score are
    • General – 33 out of 100
    • OBC – NCL/ Gen – EWS – 29 out of 100
    • SC/ ST/ PH – 20 out of 100

NCVT CTI 2022 Admission Counselling

  • Those candidates who will score more than cut off marks will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
  • To take part in the counseling process, aspirants have to pay a counseling fee i.e. Rs. 1000/-
  • In the counseling process, candidates have to provide their choice of course and ITI in which they want to study.
  • The admission will be confirmed only after the verification of documents and payment of the admission fee.
