About National Institute of Technology, Warangal
National Institute of Technology, Warangal commonly known as NIT, Warangal is a first federally funded technical institute in the country. Previously known as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal (RECW), NIT, Warangal is the one among the seventeen regional engineering colleges established in India. Founded in 1959, today NIT Warangal become one of the Institutes of National Importance (INI) recognized by the government of India, offering UG, PG and PhD degree courses in engineering, basic sciences, technology and management.
