About National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand

NIT- Uttarakhand is one of the leading technology institutes situated in Uttarakhand. It is one amongst the ten newly endorsed NITs in 2009 by the Government of India under the eleventh Five year Plan. The Institute is financial aided by Government of India beneath the Ministry of Human Resource Development. There are three branches in NIT- Uttarakhand i.e. Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. It was started with the objective to provide quality education along with innovative brilliant technocrat. Prospectus will be drawn on the lines of Indian Institute of Technology’s and shall have the best practices.

• Library- the College has a well-stocked library with more than 26000 books along with reading room facility where students are allowed to do study even after the classes.
• Sports -The NIT Uttarakhand is a big hub for sports activities. It has various indoor as well as outdoor sports area for the overall development of students.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should have passed (10+2) or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biotechnology, Language and any other subject.  They must have scored at least of 45% marks. There will be a relaxation of 5% in minimum aggregate for all reserved category candidates.

Course fee: 3.21 lakh
