State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai is responsible for organizing MHT CET every year. MHT CET/MH CET officially known as Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test for admission to B.Tech/B.E, B.Pharm and, Pharm D courses in the state of Maharashtra.
In the year 2013, the examination was replaced with JEE Main but it started again in 2016. With MHT CET Scores the candidates will get admission to many government and private colleges/institutes located in the state of Maharashtra.
Interested and eligible candidates seeking admission to Engineering, pharmacy, technology, and agriculture streams through MHT CET 2024 must submit their application form on or before the due date.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria
The authority has set eligibility norms that candidates need to satisfy before applying for the exam.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
There will be no age limit to apply for MHT CET.
The applicants must pass the 12th level examination or equivalent from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category).
MHT CET Application Form 2024
The MHT-CET application form will be available online most likely in February 2024. Candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website of conducting body. The online application process includes four stages Registration, filling out the application form, Uploading the photograph and signature, and Payment of fees.
Initially, candidates will have to complete the online registration process by giving details like name, contact number, email id etc.
After that, fill out the application form with details such as educational qualifications, and personal details etc.
Candidates have to upload scanned documents like passport-size photographs, signatures etc. as per the given parameters.
Candidates have to pay the required application fee through online mode. Don’t forget to take the printout of the application form for future use.

MHT CET Examination Pattern
The questions in the exam will be asked from three subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics. Candidates have to opt for the specified set of papers as per their course choice. For example, engineering candidates are required to appear for PCM while pharmacy students are required to appear for PCM or PCB.
The questions are based on the syllabus of 11th & 12th class education. The details of the examination pattern are given below.

The authority will release the updated MHT CET 2024 Syllabus in PDF format after the release of the official notification. The MHT-CET syllabus includes 80% weightage of questions from Class 12 of Maharashtra State Board and 20% weightage of questions from the Class 11 syllabus. MHT CET Admit Card
The authority will release the MHT CET 2024 Admit card in May 2024 (tentatively). The admit card will be available in online mode only. Authority will not send any hard copy of admit card to students via post.
Applicants will be allowed to download the admit card by providing their login credentials such as registration number and password. The admit card will include details like exam date, roll number, time & venue etc.
MHT CET Hall ticket is an important document that candidates have to bring at the time of the exam. Without a valid copy of admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam.
MHT CET Result
It is expected that the MHT CET result will be announced in June 2024. Candidates who successfully appeared in the exam can check their results online. A separate merit list will be released for the candidates based on MHT CET scores.
Qualified candidates whose names/roll numbers are mentioned in the merit list will be invited for the counselling process.
MHT CET Counselling
The authority will commence the MHT CET Counselling in June 2024 (tentatively). The process of counselling will be organized in online mode. Qualified candidates should attend the counselling as per their merit rank.
At the time of counselling, the seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their scores and the availability of seats in the preferred colleges/institutes. Candidates should bring the prescribed list of important documents for verification.
