Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021: Merit List, Admission

The Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 process will be organized under the guidance of Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur. In order to be eligible for the admission process, it is mandatory for the candidates to clear their NEET UG exam. The enrolment will be granted to the qualified candidates into medical and dental colleges situated in the state of Manipur. An application form will be made available and the interested candidates will have to submit their application for admission before the last date of form submission. Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021

NEET: The candidates who wish to get enrolment into the medical and dental colleges of Manipur must clear their NEET exam. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admissions into medical and dental colleges all over the country, except AIIMS and MBBS. Those who qualify NEET and submit their application form for Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 will be considered for enrolment. The candidate must note that no other entrance exam will be conducted for this purpose.

Application Form

The application form for Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 can be obtained from the office of the Directorate, Lamphelpat. The candidates may also be able to download the application form from the official website. The candidates must fill this application form in their own handwriting providing details such as name, address, date of birth, place of birth, category, nationality, qualifying exam marks, name of board of qualifying exam, NEET rank, etc. The candidate must also affix a photograph of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm on the application form. The filled-in application form along with the important enclosures must be submitted before the last date.

List of candidates for Manipur MBBS/BDS Admission 2021

On the basis of their merit in NEET, a list of candidates will be prepared in order of merit. Select and wait list of the candidates will be made and released on the official website of directorate manipurhealthdirectorate.in and also on the notice board of the office of Director of Health Services, Manipur. The counseling of the candidates will be done according to these lists.

Counseling Procedure

The candidates whose names appear in the select list and waitlist are required to report to the counseling venue for participating in the first round of counseling. The schedule for the counseling will be communicated to the candidates on manipurhealthdirectorate.in. The candidates must report to the counseling venue along with all required original documents, acknowledgment slip and six passport size photographs. The candidates or their representatives who do not appear for counseling on the stipulated date and time will not be considered later. At the time of counseling, the documents of the candidates will be verified and the allotment of seat will also be done. 2nd round of the counseling will be done in order to fill the seats that remain vacant after the 1st counseling.

Candidates must be present at the time of counseling along with the following documents, in original and in photocopy:

  • 3 recent passport size photographs (including one 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm size)
  • Age proof Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Mark sheet of qualifying exam passed (duly self-attested)
  • SC/ ST Certificate
  • Ex-Serviceman/ Armed Forces Personnel Certificate
  • Meritorious Sports Person Certificate
  • Banker’s Cheque/ Demand Draft/ Cash
  • Domicile/ Residential/ Employment Certificate (as per enclosed formats)
  • Mark sheets of 10 + 2/ B.Sc. and earlier qualifying exam (for B.Sc. candidates)
  • Admit card of the qualifying exam (if declaration of the result is pending)
  • Disability Certificate (To be obtained from the Medical Board, Medical Directorate, Lamphel)
  • OBC Certificate
  • Copy of Score Card of NEET (Current Year)
