Mangalore University Distance Education Admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Mangalore University, Mangalagangotri from eligible candidates for admission to distance degree courses such as Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (M.Com) and Master of Arts (M.A) Programmes available in various disciplines for the academic session 2021-2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply as per prescribed schedule.

Eligibility Criteria for Mangalore University Distance Education Admission 2021
For UG courses:
- A candidate who have done the two year Pre-University examination organized by the Pre-university Education Board in the State of Karnataka or who has qualified any Diploma programme of 3- years recognized by Karnataka State technical Education Board or any other equivalent examination is eligible for admission to the above degree courses.
- Applicant who has passed 1st year or 2nd year of any bachelor degree of Mangalore University is considered eligible for admission to 2nd or 3rd year of the respective bachelor degree as the case may be, matter to the criteria required to be obligatory by the university.
For PG Courses
- The applicant who has done any bachelor degree examination of Mangalore University or of any other university considered as equivalent thereto may apply for admission to these PG courses.
Application Form: How to apply
Interested and eligible candidates can download the Application form from the official website of university i.e. www.mangaloreuniversity.ac.in.
Candidates can also get the Application form with prospectus from the office of the University on payment of Rs.200/- to the Account of Mangalore University in any one of the specified banks via challan.
Application forms and information booklet will also be available from the Director/Co-coordinator, by sending the Bank challan on payment of Rs.240/- or sending a DD of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “The Finance Officer, Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri”, payable at Mangalagangothri /Mangalore.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for admission to said courses will be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the previous examination.
