MAH HM CET 2021: Application Form, Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria

MAH HM CET 2021 is going may organize in May 2021. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) organizes the Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) to select the candidates for admission into the 4 years Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) in various Governments aided and un-aided Institutes approved by AICTE. DTE conducts the exam in the month of May every year and the candidates, who are eligible and want to pursue the career in the field of hospitality, can choose to apply for this exam. MAH HM CET 2021 Important Dates

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have qualified the higher secondary level education from any recognized board.
  • Candidates can be from any of the streams Arts/commerce/science/MCVC/home science etc.
  • It is necessary for all the applicants to have secured at least 45% marks at the higher secondary level of education.
  • For the reserved category, the educational criteria will be 40%.
  • Along with that, the applicants must have studied English at the higher secondary level as a compulsory

MAH HM CET 2021 Application Form

  • Candidates can apply thru the application form which will be available on the official portal of the DTE that is ‘dte.org.in’.
  • All the eligible applicants need to register online where they will get the registration ID and password.
  • With registration number, candidates will be able to open the link to fill the online application form.
  • In the application form, they will have to submit all the required details such as name, address and other communication information and the details of the educational qualification as well.
  • They will have to upload the scanned photo and signature in the application form.
  • Candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 700 also before submitting the online application form.
  • The application fee for the candidates of the reserved category will be Rs. 500.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee thru the credit card, debit card, and net banking.

MAH HM CET Exam Pattern

  • There will be an online computer-based test (CBT).
  • The question paper will be of objective nature where candidates will have to solve multiple choice questions.
  • There will be 100 questions of 100 marks in the examination.
  • The time duration of the question paper will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • The question paper will be in the English language only.

MAH HM CET 2021 Admit Card

  • After the submission of the application form, candidates will be issued the admit card in the month of May 2021.
  • Admit card will have the information about the examination timing, duration, and the centre.
  • It will be necessary for all the applicants to take the admit card at the examination centre to ensure their entry.

MAH HM CET 2021 Result

  • After the commencement of the examination, DTE will publish the result of the examination on the official website.
  • Most probably, the result will be published in the month of June 2021.
  • The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of the marks attained by them in the entrance test.
