Eligibility Criteria for M.G University BBA LLB Admission

Applicants need to satisfy prescribed eligibility conditions before applying admission to BBA LLB Programmes at M.G. University, Kerala. The required eligibility criteria are as follows:

For BBA LL.B (Hons.) 5 year Program (30 seats)

• Candidate must have done Higher Secondary or 12^th level Examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with the minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category) in aggregate.
• The applicants, who have done 10+2 or graduation through Open University System directly without holding any basic qualifications for prosecuting, are not eligible for admission to law courses.
• The maximum age limit of candidate should be 20 years (21 years in case of SC/ST category) on 1st July of the year concerned

For LLB (3 years) – 50 seats

• Candidates must have done BA / B.Com/ B.Sc or any other Bachelor’s Degree from M.G University or from any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University with the minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category) in aggregate.

M.G University BBA LLB Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates can download the BBA LLB admission application form from the official website of university i.e. www.mgu.ac.in. Application forms will not available in any other mode.

Applicants are needed to submit the registration fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of candidates from SC/ST category) at the university cash counter/Friends Jana-Sevanakendram or via Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University”, payable at SBT MG University Campus Branch (Code: 669), PD Hills P.O., Kottayam

Application Fee once submitted will not be refunded. The filled up application form must be completed in all respects. Incomplete and applications received after due date will be summarily rejected.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test. All applicants including those who are employed will give a written undertaking at the time of admission to the result that they would bear by the timing of the programme.

The aspirants, who are employed, will show supporting documents/certificates to confirm the nature of employment or profession and a ‘NOC’ (No Objection Certificate) from the employer in the format prescribed by the School.

Examination Pattern

The duration Entrance exam for both the Programs will be of 2 hours. The test will contain questions from General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Language skills subjects. The entrance exam will carry total of 100 marks.
