LN Mithila University B.Ed Admission 2022: Dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University, governed under the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 has released notification regarding the admissions in the B.Ed courses for the year 2022-23. Earlier known as Mithila University, this is a highly reputed university, having 2 government colleges, 43 constituent, and 25 affiliated colleges. For admission in these courses for both regular and distance degree programmes, entrance exam will be held. Eligibility Criteria for the Entrance Exam

For Regular Course

• The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanity.
• For the candidate from B.E./B.Tech stream, a minimum of 55% marks is required with specialization in Science and Mathematics.

For distance programme

• The applicant should have completed NCTE recognized teacher education program in the face-to-face format.
• The applicant has scored 50% marks in graduation/post-graduation.
• The candidate should be an untrained teacher or an elementary education trained in-service teacher.

Note: For the reserved category candidates, relaxation in marks is provided as per the rules of Government of Bihar.

LN Mithila University B.Ed Application Form 2022

The application form for both the programmes will be made available on the official website. The form will be released most probably in the month of April and the eligible candidates can fill-up the form and submit it before the last day, which will be in the month of May.

LN Mithila University B.Ed 2022 Exam Pattern

There will be a total of 120 questions in the paper, each of them carrying 1 mark. The answering paper will be in the form of OMR sheet, so take extra care while answering it. The duration of the paper will be 120 minutes or 2 hours.

Admit Card

The hall ticket or admit card will be available on the official websites lnmu.ac.in and ddelnmu.ac.in. The applicant needs to download the copy of admit card, without which, he/she will not be allowed to sit in the examination.

Answer Key, Result and Counseling

On the official website, the answer keys will be published after the commencement of exams. The candidate can estimate their marks on the basis of the answer keys. After the final result is announced by the University, they will be further informed about counseling.
