LHMC B.Sc Nursing 2022: Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Date

The College of Nursing, Lady Hardinge Medical College will release the official notification for LHMC B.Sc. Nursing 2022. The duration of this course is 4 years and only female candidates can apply for admission. In order to grant the admission, the college will conduct an entrance exam. The women candidates looking to apply for this course need to fill and submit the application form in offline mode. It is expected that the application form will release in the month of May 2022.

The candidates looking to apply for the LHMC B.Sc Nursing 2022 admission need to fulfill the eligibility criteria below:

Gender

• Only women candidates can apply for admission.

Age Limit

• The age of an applicant should not be more than 17 years as on 31^st December 2022.

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject.
• A candidate needs to have at least 45% aggregate marks in the subjects mentioned above.

• In order to apply, the candidates first need to download the application form from the official website.
• The official website on which the application form will available is http://lhmc-hosp.gov.in.
• After downloading the application form, the candidates need to take a printout of the same and fill in neat and clean handwriting.
• The applicant should note that they have to fill the application form in English language only.
• In the application form, the applicants need to enter the personal details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, address, phone number, email address.
• Please note that the candidates should keep the email address and phone number provided in the application form active until the admission process gets over.
• Additionally, the applicants also need to enter their academic details in the application form such as year of passing the qualifying exam, marks scored in the qualifying exam, etc.
• The candidates also have to affix their photograph in the application form. Please note that this photograph should be attested by the principal or a gazetted officer.
• After filling the application form, every aspirant should read the declaration available at the bottom of the form and sign on it.

Application Fee

The application fees for LHMC B.Sc Nursing application 2022 are given below:

• For General and OBC candidates: Rs. 550/-
• SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 300/-
• Differently abled candidates: Nil (Exempted from the application fee)

Mode of Payment

• A candidate can pay the application fee via Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheques.
• The DD/ Bander’s cheque must draw in favour of “The Director, LHMC & Associated Hospitals, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi.

Document to be sent along with the Application form

An applicant has to send the following document along with the hard copy of the application form.

• Acknowledgement card having the address of the candidate mentioned on it.
• A self-Addressed envelope with the stamp affixed (Rs. 18 for Delhi & NCR) (Rs. 40 for all other states)
• Admission ticket (Admit Card) having the name of a candidate, father’s name and signature of candidates. Also, affix two passport size unattested photograph with the admission ticket.
• Passport size photograph of the candidate affixed on the application form duly signed by the applicant and attested by the last school principal/ gazette officer. Please note that the attestation signature should be half on the application form and half on the photograph.

The exam pattern of the LHMC B.Sc entrance exam 2022 is as follows:

• Mode of Examination: Offline mode
• Type of Questions: Objective type questions only.
• Subjects: English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and General Knowledge.
• Language of Exam (Medium): English
• Duration of Exam: 2 hours and 30 minutes

Reservation policy

Percentage-wise reservation for the different category candidates are as follows:

• SC candidates: 15% for the total seats
• ST candidates: 7.5% seats
• OBC candidates (Non-creamy layer): 27%

Apart from this, 5% horizontal reservation is also given to the candidates from PWD categories and children/ widows of Armed and Paramilitary personnel.

LHMC B.Sc Nursing 2022 Admit Card

• The authorities will dispatch the admit card most probably in the 1^st week of June 2022.
• The examination venue will be indicated on the admission ticket or admit card.
• In case the candidate does not receive the admit card within stipulated time then she should contact the admission office of the college.
• It is mandatory for every candidate to carry the admit card at the exam center.
• Apart from the admit card, the aspirants also need to carry a valid photo Identity proof.

• The result of written exam along with the list of successful candidates will available on the college website.
• Additionally, the college will also display the result and successful candidates list on the notice of the college of nursing.
• After the result declaration, the students need to appear for the counselling process.
• The counselling process will take place at the office of the principal, college of Nursing Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi
• All the candidates will get admissions on the basis of their performance in the entrance test.
