The exam will held most probably in the month of December 2016. Candidates who are interested for appearing in this exam are suggested to apply on or before the end date. There is no age-limit for appearing in this examination. This article will give you all relevant details regarding KSET.

KSET Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have done master’s degree or equivalent examination from a UGC recognized institute with minimum 55% percent marks. (There will be relaxation in marks for reserved categories as per the norms of Indian Govt).

Candidates appearing in final year of their post-graduation programme can also apply for KSET.

KSET Examination Pattern:

The exam will comprise of two sessions including three papers i.e. paper 1, paper 2, and paper 3. First paper will contain only one session of 100 marks while the 2nd session will contain two sessions of total 250 marks. In first session candidate have to attempt only 50 questions out of 60 questions and in second session all the questions are must to attempted. Total time duration allowed for these papers will be five hours.

KSET Application Form: How to Apply?

Interested and eligible applicants can apply online by going through the official website of the institute i.e. www.Kset.uni-mysore.ac.in.  After the submission of their Karnataka SET (KSET) Application Form, candidates are suggested to take the print out and send it with compulsory documents at the relevant head office before end date. Late submission of application form will be charged with extra fee.

KSET Application Form Fee:-

KSET application fee for General category candidates will be Rs 1000/-.Candidates belonging to other reserved category such as SC /ST/OBC need to pay the amount of Rs 500/. Please note fee submitted via any other medium like IPO, Money order, demand draft will be rejected.
