KCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

BE/B.TechCandidates must be cleared in the 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam with English as one of the Language subjects and secured at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category) in Mathematics and Physics along with Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Biology/Computer subjects.
B.ArchCandidates must have done the 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Language subjects and obtained 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent examination in all the subjects Candidates should have a valid NATA Score.
B.PharmaCandidates should have passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry and secured at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category) in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects. Or Candidates must have cleared a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and obtained at least 45% marks. (40% for reserved category)
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)Applicants should pass 2nd PUC / Class 12 and achieve at least 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and English subjects.

KCET Application Form 2024

KCET Syllabus 2024

The syllabus for KCET will be decided by the conducting board. Candidates can check the syllabus online from the official website. KCET Admit Card 2024

The authority will release KCET 2024 Hall ticket tentatively in June 2024 through online mode. Candidates registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card from the official website by using their login details such as application number or date of birth.

The KCET Admit card is an important document to carry at the exam centre. It includes crucial details related to the exam like examination centre address, candidate’s roll number, date and time of the exam, reporting time, etc. The authority will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without an admit card.

KCET Answer Key 2024

The answer key for KCET 2024 exam is expected to be released in June 2024. Initially, the authority will release the provisional answer key through online mode. An objection facility will be provided by the authority in case of issues with the answers given in the provisional answer key.

Candidates will be able to submit the objections through online mode within the specified time limit. After considering the objections the authority will publish the final answer key. With the help of the answer key candidates can calculate their estimated score in the exam.

KCET Result 2024

The KCET 2024 Result will be announced soon after the release of the final answer key. The KEA will announce the result through online mode tentatively in July 2024. Candidates will be able to check or download the result from the official website by using the login details.

A merit list will also be prepared by the authority based on the candidate’s marks scored in the exam. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the result for further admission procedures.

KCET Cutoff 2024

The authority will announce the cutoff marks after the declaration of the result. The cutoff marks will be prepared to shortlist the candidates for the counselling process. It is the minimum qualifying mark that candidates need to achieve to be eligible for the KCET Admission process.

The cutoff marks of KCET 2024 will be decided by the Karnataka Examination Authority after considering various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of applicants, availability of seats, previous cutoff trends, etc.

KCET Counselling 2024

The process of KCET Counselling will be held in online mode only. It is expected that the counselling will be commenced in August 2024. The KCET counselling process will include various phases such as online registration, document verification, seat allotment, and the issue of admission letters.

Only qualified candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling round. The shortlisted candidates need to appear in the counselling process as per their merit rank.
