Karnataka Polytechnic Counselling 2021- Candidates aspiring to get admission into polytechnic programmes across Karnataka state they will have to attend the counselling session which is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in coordination with Karnataka Admission Authority (KEA). Candidates can give their choice of colleges and streams as per their merit.

Apply for Seat Allocation in Karnataka Polytechnic 2021

Candidates are required to collect the application form from the nearby polytechnic institutions of Karnataka state and after filling submit the same to the concerned authority for the further rounds of seat allotment. First of all, candidates will have to appear for document verification procedure and thereafter, they can lock their choice of colleges and branch.

It is informed to all aspirants that option entry process will be held in online mode. Candidates will get a printout of their filled application form and option entry sheet at the helpline centres. Post submission of the form successfully, a secret key will be sent to them via SMS.

Seat Allotment Procedure

Candidates can find all related information of seat allotment at the official website of KEA and DTE. Seat allotment letter can be also downloaded from there only. Reservation would be provided in the following ways:

• Girl category candidates: 30% seats
• Rural candidates: 25% seats
• Kannada Medium candidates: 5% seats
• Supernumerary Quota: 5% seats
• Physically Disabled candidates: 3% seats

Candidates will be required to submit below-listed documents in original along with its self-attested copies:

• Domicile certificate;
• High school or its equivalent exam passing certificate and mark sheet;
• PwD category certificate;
• Caste certificate for SC/ST category candidates;
