JAC Delhi 2022: Participating Institutes, Application Form, Choice Filling

Selection of the candidates for admission to B.Tech course offered by the NSUT, DTU, IIIT-D and IGDTUW colleges of Delhi is done on the basis of JEE (Main) Paper I merit. Application form for admissions will be released through online mode tentatively in the month of May 2022. Candidates are suggested to make sure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before they proceed with the application process. Eligibility Criteria for JAC Delhi 2022

Candidates who wish to appear for JAC Delhi 2022 should meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below:

For B.Tech degree program at DTU, IGDTUW and NSUT

• A pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics scoring not less than 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks for OBC, CW & PD category candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST category candidates) along with a pass in English subject (Core or Elective) is required.
• Candidates should hold a valid JEE Main (Paper I) rank as well.

For B.Tech degree program at IIIT-D

• The candidates need to clear their class 12th exam with not less than 70% marks in aggregate (65% marks for OBC, CW & PD category candidates and 60% marks for SC/ ST category candidates) of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
• A minimum of 70% marks in Mathematics (65% marks for OBC, CW & PD category candidates and 60% marks for SC/ ST category candidates) is also required.
• Applicants should hold a valid JEE Main (Paper I) rank as well.

For B.Arch course at IGDTUW

• Those who clear their class 12th exam or hold a 3-year diploma degree with Mathematics as a subject are eligible to apply.
• Candidates should hold a valid JEE Main (Paper II) rank as well.

 JAC Delhi Application Form 2022

The candidates can obtain the JAC Delhi 2022 application form by visiting the official website www.jacdelhi.nic.in. No mode other than online will be provided to the candidates to fill and submit the application form.

• Initially, the candidates will have to enter their JEE application number, name and date of birth.
• The JEE application number of the candidates will be checked and the candidates then need to provide their email id and phone number.
• Candidates will have to provide a password and their email id and phone number will be verified using OTP.
• Applicants can now proceed with the filling of application form. In the application form the candidates will have to provide their rest personal, academic and other details as asked.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature of the candidates and other important documents should also be uploaded into the form.
• After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates should submit it online along with a prescribed application fee.
• A copy of filled-in application form should be taken and kept by the candidates in case of future reference.

Application fee:

• The application fee for JAC Delhi will be Rs. 1500/-. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Payment of application fee can be done online using credit card/ debit card or net banking.

Important Documents

Soft copies of the following documents should be uploaded in the application form:

• Passport size color photograph
• Qualifying exam mark sheet
• High school certificate for date of birth proof
• Bonus point documents, if eligible for IITD bonus point
• Category certificate, for reserved category candidates
• Physical disability certificate, for PH candidates

Choice Filling Process

• Candidates who submit their application form successfully need to provide their choices for seat allotment.
• For this, the candidates will have to login to their account using their application number as user id and the created password.
• The candidates should provide their choices in the order of preference as the allotment of seats will be according to their preference.
• The candidates can provide as many choices and can rearrange their choices a number of times.
• Once they are done providing their choices, the candidates should lock them before the last date.

JAC Delhi 2022 Result

• After the choice filling process is over, the filled choices will be processed for allotment of seats.
• Seat allotment will be done as per the Common Rank List in JEE Main paper I or paper II, as applicable.
• Result of the seat allotment process will then be displayed on the official website.
• Provisional seal allotment letter of the candidates will be made available in their login account.

JAC Delhi Admission Process 2022

• Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit a prescribed amount of admission fee through online mode or SBI collect e-challan.
• Documents uploaded by the candidates will be verified and the admission of the candidates will be confirmed.
• After this, the candidates can download their admission letter and freeze their seats.
• Candidates who are granted final admission should report to the allotted institute to complete the admission formalities.

Do I need to send any documents to JAC Delhi at the time of application?

There is no need to send the hard copy of application form or any other documents to JAC Delhi at the time of application.

Can a candidate from outside Delhi apply for the admission process?

Yes. Such candidates will be considered for admission to 15% seats in the participating colleges.

Is it possible for me to withdraw my admission?

An admitted candidate can ask for withdrawal of admission during the counseling period by submitting online request at JAC portal on or before the last prescribed date.

What documents should I carry at the time of reporting to allotted institute?

Those reporting to the allotted institute for admission should carry the following documents in original and photocopy for physical verification:

• Receipt of the admission fee payment
• Registration form duly signed by guardian/ parent and candidate
• Printout of filled choices (printed after closing of registration)
• Three passport size photographs
• Medical fitness certificate
• Printout of the admit card and score card of JEE Main
• Marks sheet of qualifying exam
• Printout out of seat allotment letter downloaded from JAC website
• High school certificate for date of birth proof
• Bonus point documents, if eligible for IITD bonus point
• Reserved category/ sub-category certificates
• Certificate in prescribed format for PD candidates
