IBPS Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below can apply for IBPS Clerk 2022:
Nationality:
Candidates belonging to any of the following nationalities are eligible:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Educational criteria:
- Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or its equivalent are eligible to apply given that the qualification has been achieve before they start filling their registration form.
Age limit (as on 1st September 2022):
- The lower and upper age limit for the IBPS Clerk exam is 20 and 28 years respectively.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the candidates as per the rules given below.

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2022
The application form for IBPS Clerk 2022 can be obtained from the official website www.ibps.in. Candidates who meet the basic prescribed eligibility can fill and submit their applications through online mode.
- Candidates are required to register themselves first by providing basic personal details like name, gender, category, date of birth, phone number, email id, etc.
- A provisional registration number and password will be generated after successful registration that can be used by the candidates for further logins.
- An email & SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent on the registered email id/ mobile number.
- Photograph, signature and thumb impression of the candidates along with a hand written declaration in scanned format should be uploaded into the application form.
- After all the details are entered into the application form, it can be submitted online along with the prescribed application fee.
- The candidates are advised take a printout of the application form and keep it safe with them for future correspondence.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2022
- The candidates can download the admit card for the IBPS Clerk 2022 exam by visiting the official website.
- After downloading, the candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it with them while reporting to the exam center.
- Along with the admit card, a valid identity proof (original and photocopy) should also be taken by the candidates.
- Candidates who appear at the exam center without these documents will not be allowed to take their exam.
- To keep safe from loss or damage, the candidates are advised to keep multiple copies of admit card with them.
IBPS Clerk 2022 Result
- The result of IBPS Clerk exam 2022exam will be declared online as per the schedule decided by the authorities.
- Candidates who clear the preliminary round will be able to download their admit card and appear for the main exam.
- Those who clear the main exam as well will be considered for provisional allotment.
- On the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the final exam, a merit list will be prepared by the authorities.
- Depending on number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.
- Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates.

IBPS Clerk FAQs 2022
Question 1: Can I apply for vacancies in the participating banks in different states?
Answer: Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/ UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.
Question 2: How can I ask for change in exam center allotted to me for the IBPS Clerk exam?
Answer: There is no provision available for that. Once allotted, the exam center cannot be changed under any circumstances. Details of the exam center and schedule will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card. Candidates appearing to an exam center other than the one allotted to them won’t be allowed to give their exam.
Question 3: Is it possible to submit the application form through offline means like challan or cash?
Answer: No. The application fee payment can be done only through online mode. Money orders, cash, challan, etc will not be accepted.
Question 4: Can I provide my choice for participating organizations in which I seek recruitment?
Answer: Order of preference for Participating Organizations can be provided at the time of filling the online application form. Once provided, no request for change in this shall be entertained.
Question 5: Can I PWD candidate ask for a scribe for writing the IBPS Clerk exam?
Answer: The visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected permanently for any reason can use their own scribe at their cost during the online examination (Preliminary and Main). There will be an additional call letter for Scribe for the Main Examination. Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time.
