Eligibility Criteria
The conducting body has made some eligibility norms that are required to be satisfied by the candidates before applying for the IBPS Clerk exam. The details regarding IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria are given below.
Age limit
The age of candidates should be between 20-28 years. There are upper-age relaxations given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Nationality
Indian citizens, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan are eligible for the exam.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Application Form
Candidates who want to apply for IBPS Clerk jobs must submit their application form on or before the due date. The application form for the IBPS Clerk exam 2024 will be released online in June (tentatively) on the official website of the conducting body.
To fill out the application form, candidates need to visit the official website of IBPS and click on the “IBPS Clerk 2024 Apply Online Link”.
First complete the IBPS Clerk registration process by providing some basic details like contact number, name, email address etc.
Thereafter, fill up the IBPS Clerk application form. Candidates also have to upload their photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
Before submitting the form, candidates are advised to verify the details carefully because no changes can be performed in the application form, after the final submission.

IBPS Clerk Application Fee
Candidates from the general category will have to pay Rs 850/as a prescribed application fee while the application fee for reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/EXSM) is Rs 175/. The payment can be made online through Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking/ Mobile Wallets.
Admit Card
The authority will release IBPS Clerk admit cards separately for prelims and mains exams. The admit card will be available online on the official website of IBPS. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards by logging in with their registration number and date of birth or password.
IBPS Clerk Exam Hall ticket will contain information related to the exam such as the candidate’s name, roll number, password, examination centre, exam date, exam time, etc.
IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern
The IBPS Clerk exam will be held in two stages i.e., Prelims exam and Mains exam. The entrance test will be held in 13 regional languages along with English and Hindi. There is a provision for negative marking in both prelims and mains exams. For each wrong answer ¼ mark will be deducted from the total marks. IBPS Clerk cutoff will be decided after considering some factors like difficulty level of the exam, highest marks obtained by the candidates, number of vacancies, number of applicants etc.
IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 Result
The IBPS Clerk result will be released two or three weeks after the completion of the exam. The authority will release result online separately for prelims and mains examination. Through prelims result, candidates will be shortlisted for the mains exam. The marks achieved in the prelim exam are not counted for the final merit list.
The final selection will be based on marks secured by the candidates in the mains exams and an overall cut-off decided by the IBPS.
