JKCET Counselling 2022: Process, Dates, Documents Required

I’m writing this post on behalf of JKCET counselling 2022. All JKCET successful aspirants have to fill their choice/preferences of disciplines/institutions through counselling process. They need to attend the counselling process along with recommended documents and fee payment receipt of Rs.1000/- per subject. The amount needs to be paid via POS machine at the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Jammu/Srinagar.

According to the documents submitted by candidate, if he/she is found an orphan or coming under abject poverty line then the authority may refund the amount paid by him/her if he/she fails to get admission due to some inevitable reasons.

JKCET Counselling Process 2022

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations selects candidates only on merit basis. They need to attend the counselling based on the rank scored by them in Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test. The authority will publish rank wise counselling schedule in two leading English newspapers of J & K before three days of starting the counselling session. However, the same will be also available at the official admission portal of JKCET.

Candidates will personally have to attend the counselling process. However, if due to some valid incident it will be not possible for a candidate to attend the counselling then he/she has to send his/her authorized representative.

List of Documents Required At the Time of Counselling

• Class 12^th marks statements;
• Proof of Date of Birth i.e. you can submit either Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate.
• Certificate of Permanent Resident.
• Reserved category certificate.

At the time of choice filling, I advise aspirants to provide multiple preferences of colleges/disciplines. It will increase their chance of getting seats.
