The Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) every year. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission into various UG Engineering programmes offered at various government and private colleges located in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
The exam will be held in offline mode i.e., pen and paper-based test. Qualified candidates will get admission to B.E/B.Tech courses in various disciplines. JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates need to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The details regarding the eligibility criteria are as follows
Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
The minimum age of candidates must be 17 years at the time of admission.
Candidates must have passed class 12th in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and English subjects with no less than 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category).
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
JKCET Application Form 2024
The authority will release the application form for JKCET in February 2024. The application form will be available in online mode only.
Candidates will have to first complete the registration process by providing details like email id, mobile number, name, etc.
Once the registration is over, login and start filling out the application form with the required details.
After filling out the application form, the candidate must upload the important documents in the prescribed format.
Verify the details before submitting the application form as no correction facility will be provided later.
Candidates need to pay the necessary application fee to complete the application process.
Don’t forget to take the printout of the duly filled application form for further usage.
Application Fee
The Application fee for JKCET will be Rs 1200/-. The fee payment can be made through online mode only using a credit card, debit card, and net banking gateways. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

JKCET Admit Card 2024
It is expected that the authority will release the admit card in April 2024 through online mode only. Candidates who registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card from the official website by entering their login credentials.
It will consist of details like the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, date and time of the exam, etc. The JKCET Hall ticket is an important document to carry at the examination centre. The authority will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without a valid admit card.
JKCET Answer Key 2024
The answer key will be released after the completion of the entrance test. The JKCET Answer key is expected to be released in May 2024 through online mode on the website. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam will be able to download the answer key from the official website.
With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores. In case of any discrepancy, candidates will have to send the written request along with documentary proof along with the payment of JKCET challenge fee.
JKCET Result 2024
The authority will announce the JKCET Result probably in June 2024. It will be made available through online mode only. Candidates have to use their registration number and date of birth to download their results.
A separate merit list will also be published based on JKCET Result. The merit list will contain the names of qualified students along with their rank and exam scores. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the scorecard and keep it safe for future reference.
JKCET Counselling 2024
Based on the JKCET merit rank, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the counseling process. The JKCET counseling schedule will be published online mode on the official website. The shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling with carrying the original certificate and the counselling fee of Rs 1500/-.
At the time of counselling, candidates will have to select the colleges and courses/ programs as per their preferences.
