Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates seeking admission to JK MBBS and BDS admission 2021 must satisfy certain eligibility conditions as mentioned below.

  • Applicant should hold an Indian citizenship
  • Applicants must have completed 17 years on or before December 31, 2021.
  • Candidates should possess a permanent domicile certificate of Jammu and Kashmir as prescribed in Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir
  • They must have Class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidates from general category should have scored at least 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories) aggregate in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English.
  • Candidates have to appear and qualified in NEET 2021 with 50% for general categories and 40% for SC/ ST / OBC/ PH category.

  • Submit the duly filled application along with NEET score before the due date.

JK MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 Merit list

The authorized counselling conducting body will publish the merit list of J & K MBBS BDS 2021 most likely in the month of June 2021. The merit list will be determined strictly on the basis of NEET scores. J & K MBBS BDS 2021 merit list will be comprised of name of students who have qualified NEET exam. The merit list will consist of candidate’s name, application number, NEET score, DOB, and J & K ranks. In addition, admissions to private, central, and deemed universities situated in Jammu and Kashmir will also be based by JKBOPEE on the basis of NEET scores only.

Counselling

The counselling conducting body i.e. Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will provide admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in government, private and deemed universities situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The process of counselling will be held in offline mode where applicants will have to be present personally.
