Eligibility criteria for Jiwaji University Admission 2022
Educational qualification
- Basically, for all the courses the minimum eligibility criteria of marks are 50% in aggregate in qualifying examination. There will be a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility criteria for the candidates from SC/ST/OBC category of Madhya Pradesh only
- If some seats remain un-occupied in non-entrance test based courses, applicants who have obtained at least of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination will be offered admission, provided the rules of such programmes allows such relaxation.
- The candidates, who are awaiting their results of qualifying examination, can also apply for Jiwaji University admission
- Applicants, who have done their qualifying examination from universities except for Jiwaji University, are needed to submit ‘Eligibility Certificate’ given by the Jiwaji University, Gwalior, earlier to the admission in any preferred programme
Age criteria
The upper age limit of the candidate for admission to UG Programme is 23 years whereas for PG degree and diploma courses it will be 28 years as on July 01 of the year of admission.
There will a relaxation of three years given in upper age for candidates from SC / ST / OBC category and physically handicapped applicants of Madhya Pradesh only.
Jiwaji University 2022 Application Form: How to apply?
The interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission by filling online application form through www.mponline.gov.in or https://www.mponline.gov.in/portal/services/Jiwaji/Dashboard.aspx. Candidates have to pay Rs 600 as required application fee through Credit card/Debit Card or by Net-banking.
Each candidate can submit admission form for a maximum of 5 courses. Candidates have to pay separate registration fee of Rs.200/- per programme besides application fee Rs.600/- along with the admission form.
The Printout of Admission application Form along with the Photocopies of the Mark Sheets and other important documents (ST/ SC/OBC/ PH/ FF/Kashmiri migrant/ Staff Ward/ Parsi/NRI/ NSS/ NCC/Sports etc.) will be needed to be submitted to the “Chairman Admission Committee, School of Studies in Physics, Jiwaji University, Gwalior – 474011”, either by in Person or Speed Post. Candidates can also be submitted at Central Library via in person.

Post Graduate – M.B.A courses | For MBA admission candidates have to appear in written exam followed by personal interview and Group Discussion. The written exam will carry 100 marks as listed below:

MPhil (all subjects)/Phd | The entrance exam will include 100 objective type questions for 100 marks. Merit will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the exam. |
For Non- Entrance based courses
Admission will be done on the basis of candidate’s merit in qualifying exam. The merit for admission will be calculated on the basis of Index prepared through marks scored in qualifying examination and the marks achieved in subject theory papers in which the candidate is looking for admission.
