JIPMER PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for JIPMER PG exam. Aspirants can check the JIPMER PG eligibility criteria details from the section below.
Indian citizens/ OCI/ NRI card holders & foreign nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
For MD/MS Courses, candidates must hold a MBBS degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved category) recognized by MCI/ NMC. Apart from this, candidates should have completed the required one-year rotating internship/ practical training on or before the prescribed schedule.
For DM/M. Ch courses, applicants should have completed MD/ MS degrees from any MCI- approved board or university.
The upper age limit will be 35 years as on the admission year calendar.
JIPMER PG 2024 Application Form
The authority will release the JIPMER PG 2024 Application form online mode only. Candidates should visit the official website to complete the JIPMER online registration.
The application form for the January session will be available in September 2024 whereas the application form for the July session released in February 2024.
Candidates must enter all the details as asked in the form carefully and accurately as the correction facility may not be available later.
Candidates have to upload scanned images of a passport-size photograph and signature in the application form as per the given parameters.
To complete the application process, candidates need to submit the required application fee via online mode.

JIPMER PG Syllabus
The JIPMER PG syllabus for DM/ M. Ch will be based on INI SS only. The syllabus will cover the various topics and questions from General/ Basic component of the qualifying examination and the sub-specialty/ system/ component of the specialty course.
For admission to MD/ MS courses in JIPMER, the syllabus will be based on the 12th class level. It will cover the syllabus for various subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, GK & Aptitude test.
JIPMER PG Admit Card
The JIPMER PG admit card for the January session will be available in November 2023 and in May 2024 for the July session. The authority will release the admit card via online mode only. Candidates who complete the registration will be able to download the admit card from the official website of JIPMER.
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the JIPMER website login page and enter the details like application number and password in the given fields. JIPMER PG Hall ticket will comprise important information related to the exam such as the candidate’s roll number & name, exam venue, date & time of exam, and other important instructions regarding the test.
JIPMER PG Result 2024
The JIPMER PG 2024 result will be announced separately for both sessions. Candidates can check their respective course results online after the official announcement. Candidates can download the JIPMER PG scorecard 2024 by using their login credentials.
The scorecard will comprise details like total marks obtained in the exam, JIPMER PG Merit rank, qualifying status of the candidate, etc. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the result and keep it safe for future reference.
JIPMER PG Counselling
Shortlisted candidates who qualify for the JIPMER PG exam successfully will be invited to participate in the counselling round. Qualified candidates will have to attend the JIPMER PG counselling process as per their merit rank.
The JIPMER PG 2024 counselling will be held in multiple rounds. Candidates will have to register online for the counselling process by visiting the official website link. The process of counselling will be held separately for January and July sessions.
The counselling process will include stages like online registration, choice of the preferred institute, filling of preferred course, payment of counselling fee, etc. At the time of counselling, candidates should bring all the required documents for verification. Seats will be allotted after the document verification and submission of the admission fee.
