The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will conduct its postgraduate medical admission test (PGMAT). On the basis of this exam, 50% of the total seats in the PG government medical colleges will be filled. The rest 50% will be filled through AIPGMEE. Through JCECEB PGMAT 2022, admissions will be granted for one-year PG medical degree or diploma courses.

JCECEB PGMAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who wish to appear for JCECEB PGMAT 2022 must meet the certain eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be of Indian nationality and a domicile of Jharkhand.
- The applicants who are not Indian resident but have completed their MBBS degree from any medical college situated in Jharkhand will also be considered eligible.
- Those candidates whose parents (father/mother) are a permanent employee of United Nations Organization and currently posted in Jharkhand can also apply.
- Candidates with permanent registration with Bihar/Jharkhand State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) are only eligible.
- The rotating internship of the candidate should be complete by 31st March 2022.
JCECEB PGMAT 2022 Application Form
Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria can avail the JCECEB PGMAT 2022 exam application form from the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The process of form filling will be online only. After filling the details accurately in the application form, it will be submitted along with the application fee, which will be non-refundable.
Exam Pattern
- There will be a total of 250 questions in the paper carrying one mark each.
- The questions will be of objective type and one-fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The mode of the question paper will only be English.
- Out of 250, 100 questions will be from Pre and Para Clinical related subjects and the rest 150 will be from subjects related to Clinical.

- Biochemistry
- Pathology
- Microbiology
- Forensic Medicine and Toxicology

For Clinical:

- Surgery including orthopedics and other subspecialties
- Medicine including Pediatrics/Dermatology, STD, Leprosy and Psychiatry
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
Admit Card and Exam Center
The candidates can download their admit card form the JCECEB official website. The admit card for JCECEB PGMAT 2022 will only be available online. The venue of the entrance test will be mentioned in the admit card. Please note that the examination will be conducted in the city of Ranchi only.
JCECEB PGMAT 2022 Result and Counseling
The result will be uploaded on the board’s official website and according to the marks score, merit list will be prepared. According to this merit list, counseling of the qualified candidates will start.
