Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates should satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying admission to LLM Programme at Jammu University. The complete details on Jammu University LLM eligibility criteria are provided below:

• Candidates, who have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in LL.B (professional) three year/five years course, are eligible to apply.
• Applicants have to appear in the entrance test to be organized by the Department of Law.

Aspirants can obtain the JU LLM admission application form, modalities, syllabi, and other requirements of the Entrance Test from the office of the Department of Law as per scheduled date by remitting Rs.500/- (without late fee) and Rs 700/ (with late fee).

Entrance exam/ syllabus

The entrance test will be of 3 hours duration and will be subjective in nature. The test will carry a total of 100 marks.

The question paper will consist of 15 questions out of which the candidate will be needed to attempt any 10 questions

The syllabus for the Jammu University LLM entrance test will be as per the syllabus prescribed for LLB programme and will include the following subjects:

Selection Process

Selection of candidates for admission to LLM programme will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test to be organized by the Department of Law, University of Jammu

The candidates will need to appear in the written entrance Test to be held by the Department of Law on scheduled date and time.
