IPU CET MBBS

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) conducting Common Entrance Exam (CET) annually for the admissions of 31,000 seats across 150 programmes in Engineering, Medical, Arts and Diploma courses. On every year, the application form of IPU CET available online in the end of January. Here, we are giving you the details regarding IPU CET M.B.B.S-2018 such as- eligibility, list of important dates Admit Card, results and more.

Candidates will be provided admission into MBBS programme through NEET exam.

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicant must have studied/studying class 12 in science stream and attained minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English OR 40% marks if the candidate belongs in SC/ST/OBC category.

Admission Process

IPU CET MBBS admission will held in two stages (Stage 1 and Stage 2). The stage 1 exam will be held at 15 centers across the country whereas the Stage 2 exam held only in Delhi. Admissions are offering to the candidates only on merit basis.

Exam Pattern

Overview: It’s a pen-paper mode entrance exam. The medium of answers writing is in English Language. The exam will conduct in two stages (Stage1 and Stage 2). Stage 1 exam held in 15 exam centers across the country, while the stage 2 held only at the New Delhi Center.

No of questions: 200

Marking: Each correct answer will get +3 marks and 1 mark will took away for each incorrect response. No marks deduct for unanswered questions.

Application Form

The application form of IPU CET MBBS will be available from the fourth week of January, 2018.  Step by step process regarding the process for applying IPU CET MBBS is given below.

Step 1: Visit the Official website of IPU http://www.ipu.ac.in/ and then click on ‘Apply Online.’

Step 2: Fill the details in the suggested tabs. Then, Upload your Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression

Step 3: Once after entered all the details, click on ‘Submit’ button to proceed further.

(Keep In Mind: Verify all the details thoroughly once before confirming submission.)

Step 4: Now, the candidate will get an auto-generated Log-in ID and Password that helps to access to the dashboard of their profile.

Step 5: Choose the course that wants to join and select the exam test center from the drop down menu.

Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 1,000 (for General/OBC/SC & ST candidates) through online integrated payment gateway. You can pay fees using Net Banking, Debit card and Credit card.

Step 7: Now, click on ‘SUBMIT’ button to complete the process.

Admit Card

IPU CET MBBS entrance exam held in two stages. The admit card of 1^st stage can be downloaded in the month of April and the admit card of 2^nd stage can be downloaded in the month of May.

Results

The organization provides the exam results only through its official website. The exact date regarding the release of results online will be updated in the first week of January 2018. Once after releasing of results, IPU categorizes the contenders on the basis of merit list and later invite them for attending a counseling secession.
