Indian Maritime University is responsible for organizing the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) every year. It is a university-level entrance exam for admission to Undergraduate (except BBA), Post Graduate, and Research courses.
Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc., B.Tech., BBA, M.Sc., M.Tech, etc. courses through IMU CET must submit their application form as per the prescribed schedule. Admission will be provided at any of the five IMU campuses situated in Cochin, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, and Chennai. IMU CET Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for IMU CET vary from course to course. Candidates can check the details regarding eligibility criteria in the table below.

| For B.Tech courses (Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, and Ocean Engineering) | Candidates must pass the 12th examination (Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as the main subject with at least 60% average) and must achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate in English subjects in Class 10th & 12th. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. Male candidates’ age should be in between 25 years to 28 Years (30 years for SC/ST). Female candidate’s age should be between 27 years to 30 years while female candidates belonging to the SC & ST category will get a relaxation of 5 years. |
| B.Sc (Ship Building and Repair) | Candidates should have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM subject and 50% marks in English. A 5% relaxation in marks will be given to candidates belonging to the reserved category. |

IMU CET Application Form 2024
The conducting body will release the IMU CET Application form online in April 2024. Candidates will have to first complete the online registration by visiting the official website of conducting body.
After completing the registration process, candidates will be able to fill in the required details in the application form such as personal, educational, and communication details.
Thereafter, candidates will have to upload the required documents like a photograph, signature, class 10th mark sheet etc. as per the given parameters. They also have to pay the application fee through online mode to complete the application process.
Candidates must take a hard copy of the application form and keep it safe for further reference.

IMU CET Admit Card
The authority will release the IMU CET admit card 2024 online for registered candidates. To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website of IMU CET and enter their login credentials in the given fields.
The IMU CET hall ticket comprises all important details regarding the exam such as the candidate’s name and roll number, exam-date, timings, exam venue, exam related instructions etc. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid ID proof while reporting to the exam centre.

IMU CET Syllabus 2024
The authority will release the IMU CET 2024 syllabus online in pdf format. Understanding of syllabus is important for the candidates to make better study plans. IMU CET Result 2024
The result of IMU CET 2024 will be published online mode on the IMU website. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam will be allowed to check their results after the official announcement. To download the IMU CET scorecard, candidates need to provide their login credentials.
The IMU result will include details like the candidate’s rank, name and, roll number, parents name, total score, IMU CET merit rank etc. Candidates are advised to keep the downloaded copy of the result safe for further usage.
IMU CET Counselling 2024
The authority will invite the selected candidates to participate in the IMU CET Counselling process. Only qualified students will be allowed to attend the counselling round as per the given schedule. Admission of candidates will be done based on their IMU CET Merit ranks, preferences, and seat availability.
Document verification will be done at the time of counselling. After the allotment of the seats, students will have to report to the allotted IMU Campus with all the required documents.
