IIT Ropar PhD Admissions 2021

IIT Ropar invites application for admission to its regular PhD programmes in several disciplines. All interested candidates are informed to submit the application form before December 2020. Check out your eligibility criteria specified below first before start applying as if you don’t meet with all mentioned criteria, your application will automatically gets cancelled. Eligibility Criteria

• Interested candidates must hold a bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biomedical/ Instrumentation/ Communication/ Mechanical or its equivalent from Indian Institute of technology and secured at least 8.0 CGPA. Or,
• Interested candidates must hold a bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biomedical/ Instrumentation/ Communication/ Mechanical or its equivalent and secured at least 60% of marks 6.5 CGPA (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category). Having a valid GATE score is necessary. Or,
• Interested candidates must hold M.Tech/M.E/ M.S deegree in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biomedical/ Instrumentation/ Communication/Nano Technology/ MEMS/ Microelectronics/Solid State technology/Material science/ Nano science/ Engineering Physics/Mechanical or its equivalent and secured at least 60% of marks 6.5 CGPA (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category). Or,
• Interested candidates must hold a master degree or its equivalent along with subjects Chemistry/Physics or other related science subject/B.Tech in engineering Physics and secured at least 60% of marks 6.5 CGPA (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category). Having a valid GATE score is necessary.
