IISWBM M.Phil Admission 2024: Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata is going to invite applications for admission to two years Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) courses of Calcutta University for the academic session 2024-25.

An entrance test will be organized by the university for offering admission to M.Phil courses. Candidates who qualified NET, SET or equivalent national level entrance test will be exempted from the University Entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before apply IISWBM M.Phil Admission. If candidates fail to satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. The required IISWBM M.Phil Admission eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Applicants who hold a master’s degree in Management, Social Welfare, Commerce or its equivalent from Calcutta University, with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST) or with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in any discipline from any other recognized University are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have qualified in SET, NET or equivalent national level examination will be exempted from the Entrance Test. But they have to appear for the interview round conducted by the institute.

Option 1:

• For online application, you need to visit the official website of University i.e. www.iiswbm.edu. Downloaded the DL Form, information Booklet and IISWBM/State Bank of India power Jyoti account number 32495656710 Challan and deposit Rs.600/- as required application fee to any branch of State Bank of India against the challan and DL Form suitably filled in
• Send the completed DL application along with column 12 duly entered by the State Bank of India with the IISWBM’s copy of power Jyoti account number 32495656710 Challan to the Institute so as to receive the college by the due date.
• A scanned copy of the duly filled in application form along with a scanned copy of the challan meant for IISWBM of S.B.I. should also be sent by e-mail for the proof purpose.
• No application form will be considered if the form reaches the institute after the prescribed date.

Option 2:

Aspirants can obtain the application form and information booklet from the reception counter of IISWBM against cash payment of Rs. 600/.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of marks scored in the written test and personal interview conducted by the university.
