HPCET Counselling 2021: Procedure and Schedule

HPCET counselling 2021 will be organized by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) in the month of June 2021. For attending the counselling session, candidates have to register themselves first and then fill up their choice of colleges & courses. Candidates may attend the counselling session based on their JEE Main and HPCET score. 50% of the total seats will be filled through JEE Main marks, whereas rest 50% will be through HPCET.

Counselling process is must to attend by aspirants having valid HPCET or JEE Main 2021 score. Selection of candidates for B.Tech admission will be done through HPCET counselling process only.

HPCET Counselling Procedure 2021

In order to attend the counselling session, candidates are required to register themselves first for the same. Thereafter, they need to pay the “Registration Fee” with using credit card/debit card/net banking.

Candidates will be allotted seats by calculating their performance in JEE Main or HPCET. It’d be essential to make payment of admission fee by candidates for confirming his/her seat. If a candidate has not paid his/her application fee then his/her allotted seat will be allotted to the candidate next in the ranking.

List of Important Documents for the Counselling

Candidates are instructed to produce the following listed documents in its original along with one set of photocopies:

  • Qualifying exam mark sheets provided by the respective board or University;
  • Qualifying exam passing certificate;
  • Date of Birth proof candidates may submit Higher secondary/matriculation/Indian School certificate.
  • Character Certificate which should be obtained from the Head of the Institution previously attended.
  • JEE Main/HPCET scorecard;
  • Domicile/Bonafide Certificate which should be issued by the related Executive Magistrate/ Sub-Divisional Magistrate.
  • Physically Challenged and reserved category Certificate provided by the related authority.
  • Income certificate issued by the related authority.
  • Candidates who have applied under Beti Hai Anmol scheme they need to submit an affidavit attested by the executive magistrate.
