HP PAT is conducted annually by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board for admissions in various polytechnic courses provided by different institutes/colleges in the state. HP PAT Application Form 2022 – Highlights

  • The duration of the HP PAT Exam will be of Three (3) Hours.
  • The duration of the Diploma Course will be of Three (3) years.
  • The application form will be available in online mode only.
  • Candidates can fill the form from 4th April 2022.
  • Candidate should note that no electronic device/Calculators will be permitted in the exam hall.
  • If a candidate is found in possession of the given articles, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
  • Candidates will get admission solely on the basis of marks secured by them in the merit list.
  • Applicants must keep the scanned photograph and signature ready while filling the form.
  • The size of the signature and photograph should not exceed 100 kb.

Note: Candidates should attentively fill the particulars asked in the form as no correction window will be provided later on.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must satisfy the eligibility criteria laid by the exam conducting authority since failing the eligibility he/she will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Students can check their eligibility from the given details –

  • Education Qualification: Candidate must have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Percentage Required: Candidate must have obtained a minimum 35% aggregate marks in class 10th or its equivalent.

Note: If some seats remain vacant after counseling and admission of candidates who have given the exam, those seats will then be offered to candidates who have not given the exam but then they will require a minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in class 10th or its equivalent to get direct admission.

HP PAT 2022 Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the HP PAT Application Form fee as per the category they belong to. They can refer the given table to check the required fee to be paid.

Note: The payment can be made via online mode (Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking) and through Bank Challan of State Bank of India respectively.

How to fill the Application Form?

To those students who have a little idea or no idea at all on how to fill the HP PAT Application Form 2022, we’re providing complete step by step procedure on how to apply for the exam. Candidates must follow each step to avoid mistakes.

  1. Visit the Himachal Takniki Siksha Board website and click on “Online Admission”
  2. Now click on ‘Click here for Admission Information’
  3. Click on “Polytechnic – PAT 2022” link
  4. Register yourself by clicking on “New User Registration” Link under “Online Services”
  5. Enter the detail asked and click on “Submit” button.
  6. On submitting the form, you’ll get an Email and SMS on your registered email ID and Mobile Number.
  7. Click on Login button on the homepage and log-in using login ID & Password.
  8. Thereafter, click on “Apply online” link.
  9. You will be redirected to the Application Form where you’ll need to enter the details as asked in the form.
  10. Once the application form is filled, accept the terms & conditions to submit the form by putting a check on the checkbox near to it.
  11. Now click on “Save & Proceed to Next step” button.
  12. You will be asked to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  13. Upload the Photo and signature and Click on “Save & Proceed to Next step” to make the Payment.
  14. After successfully paying the application fee, keep a printout of the application form for future reference.
