Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) too can apply for Haryana MBBS/BDS Admission 2021.
- Moreover, aspirants must have qualified the higher secondary education (12th) from a recognized board of secondary education.
- The minimum age of the applicants must be 17 years.
- The maximum age for the candidates will be 25 years.
- Candidates of the reserved category will be eligible to take admission with 30 years of age.
- It is also obligatory for the candidates to pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English separately in the higher secondary exam.
- Candidates, who are appearing in the 12th standard exam, will be eligible to apply for NEET.
Admission Process
- The admission in the medical colleges of Haryana will be based on the marks attained by the candidates in the NEET-UG.
- The NEET-UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
- Candidates need to take part in the exam and qualify the same too to be eligible for admission in the medical colleges of Haryana.
- Directorate of General Health Services (DGHS) & Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the governing bodies which will conduct the counselling for the seat allotment.
Details of the Entrance Exam
- The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is commenced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
- The NEET is conducted in the month of May every year.
- The result of the exam is declared in the month of June.
- The score obtained by the candidates in the NEET will be the only criteria for admission in the MBBS and BDS courses.
