GSIB Entrance test (GET) 2021: Application Form, Eligibility criteria, important dates

GSIB Entrance test (GET) 2021: The application form of GSIB GET 2021 is available now GITAM School of International Business (GSIB) will organize an entrance test namely GSIB .Entrance Test (GET 2021) for admission to MBA & PGDBA courses for the upcoming academic session. GET 2021 is a national level entrance exam organized by GSIB solely for those who do not have XAT/ CAT/ MAT / NMAT / CMAT / GMAT scores.

Interested and eligible candidates who want to appear in this exam must fill and submit the GSIB Entrance Test (GET) application form as per schedule. The complete details regarding GET are provided on this article.

Note: GET exam will be mandatory for those candidates, who does not appeared in any of the other valid tests and is elective for those who already hold any of the aforesaid scores.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should satisfy the important GSIB entrance test eligibility criteria before apply.

For MBA programmes

• Candidates who have completed any Bachelor’s Degree (after 10+2) with second class or equivalent CGPA in from a recognized University can apply for exam.
• Appearing candidates or candidates waiting results of their final year degree examinations may also eligible to apply. However, they have to produce the passing certificate of qualifying examination as per the specified time. Failing in which, the admissions will be cancelled automatically without any refund of fee.

For PGDBA course

• Candidates who have done graduation or post graduation in subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Computer Application, Business Administration, Engineering/Technology, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Certified Financial Analyst with 2^nd class or equivalent CGPA are eligible to apply.
• Applicants appearing in the final year of qualifying examination may also apply. However, they have to complete their final education as per specified date.

GET 2021 Application Form: How to apply?

Application form can be downloaded from the official website of GITAM University i.e. www.gitam.edu or will also be downloaded from the School’s website at www.gsib.org. Fill the form carefully and submit the duly filled in application along with a DD for Rs.1000/- in favor of “GITAM School of International Business”, payable at Visakhapatnam. Candidates are suggested to submit the application form on or before the due date.

Admission process

For MBA courses

The admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in GSIB entrance test (if applicable) followed by GD/PI. The authority will conduct the GD/PI at Bhubaneswar /Bengaluru/ Delhi / Chennai / Raipur/ Guwahati / Indore / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Mumbai / Mangalore/ Nagpur / Visakhapatnam/ Ranchi.

For PGDBA Courses

The selection of applicants will be made through their aggregate scores in GSIB entrance test or valid test scores in CAT/ XAT/ MAT / GMAT/CMAT tests and PGDBA-Entrance Test and Personal Interview (PI). Final weightage will be done to the students with good academic record and related industry experience.
