GRAU Punjab BAMS & BHMS Admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU) for admission to Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Science (BHMS) and Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) Programs through PAET 2021. Every year the university conducts PAET Entrance Exam for offering admission to BHMS & BAMS courses at various Govt. and Private Colleges affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria for GRAU Punjab BAMS & BHMS Admission 2021
Educational qualification
Aspirants must have qualified 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, Biology & English or its equivalent exam from a recognized institution/University before the time of counseling
The 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam will be as per details mentioned below:
- The 12th examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology which will comprise a practical test in these subjects and also English as a mandatory subject; (or)
- The candidate must have done the higher secondary exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is correspondent to 10+2 HSC after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of education covers the subject of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology after the beginning of the 10+2+3 years education structure as suggested by the National Committee on Education; (or)
- The pre-medical/ Pre-professional exam with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, after qualifying either the Higher Senior School Examination or the pre-university or an equivalent examination
- Sc. Exam of an Indian University provided that the applicant has passed the B.Sc. Exam with minimum of two of the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that the applicant has cleared the earlier qualifying exam with the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English
- The 1st year of the 3-year duration degree course of a recognized University with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the test is a University level Exam and applicant has cleared 10+2 with the English at a level not less than a core programme; (or)
Age limit
Applicant should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 December the admission year
Application form: How to apply?
Interested and eligible candidates are needed to go through the Prospectus very carefully. Candidates will be able to apply for PAET 2021 online only. Prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of the University i.e. www.graupunjab.org.
Applicants are advised to first read both Part-I and Part-II of the prospectus carefully before filling and submitting the online Application Form of PAET 2021.
After the declaration of PAET 2021 results, applicants will need to fill online Admission Application Form available at University Website, within end date and time and get Printout of filled online Admission Application Form. The printout along with self-attested copies of documents should be sent to the office of the University on or before the due date.
Candidates have to pay Rs.4500/- (for General Category) and Rs.3000/ (for SC categories only) as required online application fee by using Debit Card or Credit Card through University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org by due date and time.
The application fee will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
Selection Procedure
For admission to GRAU Punjab BAMS course, applicants should have secured at least 40% (33% for candidates belonging to SC/BC category) in the PAET 2021 and for admission to BHMS course, the candidate must have secured at least 33% marks in the PAET 2021.
Tie Breaking in PAET-2021
In a case of two or more applicants obtain equal marks in PAET; their inter-se-merit will be determined as follows:
- Firstly the candidate having the higher percentage of aggregate marks at HSC levels in Physics, Chemistry, Biology calculated up to 3 decimal points will be given preference.
- Then the candidate having higher marks in the subject of Biology in 10+2 will be given preference.
- In a case of further tie, the candidate older in age will be given preference.
