Eligibility Criteria

Academic qualification:
- Candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for candidates belonging to reserved category – OBC, SC, ST, PH, FF). Or
- Candidates should hold a minimum CPI of 6.00 in the scale of 1 to 10 at the first degree examination. This criterion is 5.5 in the scale of 1 to 10 for candidates of OBC, ST, SC, PH, FF
- Candidate should have taken Mathematics as one of the major subjects at HSSCE (10+2) level or at a higher level.
- Candidates appearing in degree examination and are waiting for their results are also eligible to apply.

Exam pattern

- The duration of the Entrance Test will be two hours
- The exam will consist of 90 multiple choice questions with four alternate choices.
- Each right answer will be rewarded with three marks
- There will also negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong response given by candidate.

- Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning- 40 questions
- General English- 10 questions
- Mathematics- 30 questions
- Computer Awareness – 10 questions

The MCA degree program has total 60 seats. Distribution of seats and reservation policy is as follows:

- For PH – 3% i.e. 2 seats
- For ST – 12% i.e. 7 seats
- For FF – 1% i.e. 1 seat
- For OBC -27% i.e. 16 seats
