JCECE Counselling 2022-Seat Allotment, Admission

Candidates who qualify the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) will be called to attend the JCECE Counselling 2022 where they need to indicate the branch, course, and college they wish to take the admission in. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit rank they have obtained in the examination. The schedule of the counselling will be published on the official website of the JCECEB.

JCECE Counselling 2022 Highlights

The JCECE Counselling will most probably be conducted in the month of June 2020 in offline mode. It will undergo various rounds as per the results and number of candidates qualified for the counselling. Here are the highlights of the JCECE Counselling 2022

  • The counselling will be organized in offline mode. Candidates shortlisted need to appear at the counselling venue decided by the authority.
  • They must bring all the relevant documents in original and photocopy forms.
  • The original documents will be verified at the venue and then only the candidates will be granted admission.
  • In the counselling, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of college, branch in order of preference.
  • The authority will allot a seat to the selected candidates based on the marks secured by them in the JCECE examination, the availability of seats and the preference given by them.
  • After the document verification, students need to pay the interview fee as per their category. The payment of the fee can be made through E-Challan.
  • The authority will not send the invitation for the interview individually or otherwise. Thus, candidates need to keep in touch with the latest updates on the counselling procedure so they won’t miss-out the useful information.
  • Once the seat is allotted, candidates need to report to the concerned college to finish the admission related paperwork and formalities.
  • In case the seats remain vacant then the board will conduct further round of counselling to fill the vacant seats.

Documents required for verification

Here are the documents the candidates must bring along when they proceed for the counselling. They should bring the original documents as well as their photocopies.

  1. Class 10th admit card
  2. Class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate
  3. Class 12th admit card
  4. Class 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
  5. Migration certificate/Transfer certificate (mandatory at the time of admission)
  6. JCECE admit card (if lost then the copy of FIR will be required)
  7. Passport size photograph
  8. Caste certificate (if applicable)
  9. Domicile certificate issued by the sub-divisional officer of deputy commissioner.
  10. Physically handicapped certificate issued by the medical officer

If the candidates fail to produce these documents during the verification process, they won’t be allowed for admission in the stated courses provided by colleges through JCECE examination.
