Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants are requested to first ensure their eligibility before applying. Applicants who satisfy any of the following conditions will be considered eligible to apply:

• Candidates holding a graduation degree in Technology/ Engineering/Architecture can apply
• Applicants, who possess post graduation degree in Chemistry / Life Sciences/Physics related subjects/Mathematics, are eligible to apply.
• Associate Membership certificate from the recognized professional bodies such as AMIETE, AMIIChemE, AMIIM, AMAeSI, AMIE will also be considered applicable for applying to M.Tech admission.
• Note: Candidates holding B.Tech degree from any of the IIT are not required to appear in GATE exam.

IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admission 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

Applicants are advised to first read all important instructions and eligibility criteria before filling the application form. You can also go through following steps to know more about IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admission application process.

• At first, candidates have to complete the registration process.
• After the successful completion of registration process, applicants need to login to their account in order to access and fill the application form.
• Fill the required fields in the form very carefully and rightly.
• Candidates are needed to download IIT Roorkee M.Tech Application Form and Bank Challan simultaneously. Take the print out of the entire file on A4 size white sheets.
• Now using the same bank challan applicants should send the fee at any SBI branch. Bank will keep a copy and will return two copies to candidate. Out of these 2 copies, applicants are needed to attach the IITR’s copy with the application form
• Paste your recent passport size photograph (as per specified format) on the space given in printout of the application form.

Following documents should also be attached with Application Form:

• GATE score card photocopy.
• Copy of qualifying degree certificate;
• Copy of SC/ST/ PD /OBC category certificate (if valid);
• IITR challan copy for payment of fee;
