Application Form:
Duly filled application in together with all the important documents should be sent to address
“The Registrar,
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Admn. Camp Office: Vijaya Durga Towers: M.G. Inner Ring Road: Guntur –AP (522 509)”
Applications should be sent by registered post so as to reach the said authority on or before the prescribed date. Applications received after the due date or any kind of postal delay will not be considered. If any of the required certificates are not enclosed or any discrepancy found in the application form, it will be rejected directly. Candidates, who are already employed must send the applications through their employers so as to reach on or before the due date prescribed. Such candidates may send advance copies of forms with certificates to evade delay in forwarding of applications by the employers.
Admission Process:
For UG Courses:
The candidates are selected into all U.G courses except B.H.Sc. (Home Science) on the basis of their performance in the state level Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) organized by Department of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
For Post Graduation courses:
M.Sc. (Home Science) / M.Sc. (Ag.) / M.Tech (Ag. Engg): The selection of candidates will be made on the previous academic record at UG level and performance in entrance exam and the weightage would be in the ratio of 30:70.
M.B.A Agri-Business Management: The selection in this programme will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in writtten test, group discussion and interview.
For Phd courses:
Selection of candidates will be made by a Selection Committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor. The applicants must appear for entrance test and interview at specified time and place.
