ANGRAU UG admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) for admissions into various undergraduate courses including B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Tech (Food Science), B.Sc (CA and BM), B.Tech (Agri. Engg) and B.H.Sc. Home Science etc at its constituent colleges in A.P. State.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science category with obtaining minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category)

Age limit

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Upper age limit for the candidates is 22 years (25 years in case of SC /ST candidates and 27 years for physically challenged).

Reservation Criteria:

1. a) 29% seats are reserved for Backward Classes. Reserved as follows

• BC – A -7%
• BC – B -10%
• BC – C -1%
• BC – D -7%
• BC – E -4%.

1. b) Scheduled Caster (SC) = 15 %
2. c) Scheduled Tribes (ST) = 6%
3. d) For women = 33.3%
4. e) Physically Handicapped applicants = 3 %

Application Form: How to fill

Candidates can get admission in UG courses at ANGRAU through AP EAMCET. The application form for AP EAMCET will be available on the official website from the month of February 2021. The application form can be submitted only via online. To apply, the candidates have to fill form online and then pay the exam fees AP Online/ debit card/credit card.

Admit card:

Admit card will be available online on the official website. The candidates can download the application form after entering roll number and date of birth. The hall ticket is necessary for attending the exams. No candidate will be allowed to appear in examination center without valid admit card/hall ticket.

Selection Process

The candidates are admitted into all undergraduate programmes except B.H.Sc. (Home Science) based on their rank obtained in the state level Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) organized by Department of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. In case of B.Sc. (Honors) Home Science only female applicants are eligible for admission.

Result

The result will be announced on the official website of authority on the first week of June.

Counseling process

The shortlisted candidates will have to attend counselling in personal prescribed as per the notification in the News papers and be allotted seats to different U.G courses depending on their individual merit obtained in EAMCET following the presidential order, the rule of reservation as per orders of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
