DU JAT Application Form 2021: Register Online, Last Date of Application

Delhi University will be conducting the Joint Admission Test (JAT) entrance exam for admission in UG courses of Bachelor’s of Management Studies (BMS), BA (Hons.) in Business Economics and BBA (FIA) programmes offered by it. Interested candidates can apply for the entrance test by filling the DU JAT application form 2021 via online mode. The University may release the application form in June 2021. Candidates are suggested to make sure that they fit the eligibility requirements laid down by the authority in order to appear for the exam. The form must be filled and submitted on or before the deadline specified by the University in order to avoid the last-minute rush or technical error.

1. The application for DU JAT exam will only be released through online mode i.e. candidates can fill the form by visiting the official website of the Delhi University only.
2. No other mode shall be considered by the authority for filling the application form.
3. Candidates need to register for the exam by providing their basic details such as Phone number, name, and email id. The email id and phone number should be active.
4. The University will communicate to the candidates in future through the mobile number and email id provided during registration.
5. Candidates should keep their relevant documents handy along with the scanned images (Photograph and Signature) before filling the application form.
6. The details provided by the candidates should match the official records and must be correct. If at any stage, the information given by the candidates is found to be false or misleading then the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled to the immediate effect.
7. Candidates should make sure to submit the application form on time to avoid rejection of their applications.
8. Multiple application forms for the same course should be avoided by the applicants. The fee paid for multiple applications won’t be refunded back.
9. Any attempt to influence (direct/indirect) the management and employees of the University will lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
10. Incomplete applications or those received without the required application fee will be rejected by the authority.
11. Candidates should fill their particular with extreme care as no correction window will be provided by the University once the form is submitted successfully.
12. Applicants need to keep the printout copy of the application form and preserve it for future references.

Application fee

• General/ OBC/ CW category candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- towards the application fee for the exam.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD category are required to pay Rs. 250/- for the same.

Mode of Payment: The stated application fee can be paid through debit card/credit card/net banking. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. No request for refund shall be entertained by the authority in this regard.

How to fill DU JAT application form 2021?

Here is the complete step by step process of filling the application form for DU JAT entrance-

Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official web portal of the University and register themselves for the DU JAT exam. They need to provide their email id, phone number, and name to set the password. On successful registration, the login details including the unique registration id and password shall be sent to the registered email id.

Step 2: Candidates need to login into the portal using the credentials received after the registration process. They are then required to fill the details in the application form that will include the following information- Name, date of birth, gender, category, minorities (if applicable), PWD (if applicable), nationality, father’s name, mother’s name, class 12^th roll number, class 12^th marks/ percentage, Class 12^th result status, bank details, course in which admission is desired, and other relevant information.

Step 3: After filling the particulars in the application form, candidates need to upload the scanned photograph, signatures and other supporting documents. These images can be uploaded by clicking the “upload/browse” button. Candidates need to click on “save and next” button to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Before heading to the application fee section, candidates should review the details filled in the application form thoroughly. If any changes are required then they must modify the details at that time as no correction window will be provided for the same purpose after the submission of the application form.

Step 5: If no changes are required in the application form, then the candidates can proceed for the payment of the concerned application fee for DU JAT exam. They need to pay the relevant fee via online mode only. After payment of the fee, candidates will receive an application confirmation page.

Step 6: The confirmation page should be downloaded and kept safe until the admission process is completed. Candidates need not send the hardcopy of the filled-in application form to the authority.

1. Can I change the details in the application form?

If you haven’t submitted the form yet, then yes you can change/ modify your details. But in case you have submitted the application form, then there is no way to make changes in the details. The University won’t provide any application correction window to modify the particulars in the form once it is submitted successfully.

2. Where and when can I fill the application form for DU JAT exam?

3. I don’t have an email ID can I still fill the application form?

No, you need not apply again in case you have successfully registered yourself for the exam. If the internet connection broke after the registration process, then you need not worry and you can resume the application form filling from the point you’ve last saved your application.
