Eligibility Criteria for DU B.El.Ed admission 2021

Qualifying examination: Applicants must have passed class 12th from CBSE board or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

Minimum Marks: Applicants must have obtained 50% aggregate marks with minimum 50% marks in individual four subjects.

All the applicants will need to select four subjects in the given manner –

  • One subject from List A and three subjects from List B

OR

  • One subject from List A, two subjects from List B and one subject from List C respectively.

How to Register for DU B.El.Ed admission 2021

To register for the B.El.Ed program in DU, Applicants will need to follow the instruction mentioned below –

  • Visit http://admission.du.ac.in/
  • Click on the “UG Admissions” link at the top of the page.
  • Scroll down further and click on “click here” link at the bottom of the page.
  • A registration page will appear on the screen.
  • Read the information and instructions given in the “new applicant sign up” column before registering as new applicant.
  • Now click on the “new registration” link in the “new applicant sign up” column.
  • Under the “create new account” column, fill the details asked.
  • Place a tick mark on the “I hereby confirm” statement and click on the “register” tab at the bottom of the page.

Applicants are required to furnish the mentioned details while registering for the DU B.El.Ed admission 2021 –

The particulars to be filled are -First Name, Middle Name, Surname, Valid Email ID, Password, Valid Mobile Number, Captcha Code, Security Question – Either Nickname or Date of Birth, and answer of the security question respectively.

How to fill the Application form

Applicants are required to follow the steps mentioned below for filling the online application form for the Bachelor of Elementary Education program –

  • Visit http://admission.du.ac.in/
  • Click on the “UG Admissions” link at the top of the page.
  • Scroll down and click on “click here” link at the bottom of the page.
  • After arriving at the registration page, enter the login details in the “Registered Applicant Sign in” section.
  • Read and accept the declaration and click on “continue”.
  • Enter the details in each of the sections carefully.
  • Pay the application fee to finally submit the form.

Note: Applications received without the registration fee will be rejected.

Exam Pattern for DU B.El.Ed admission 2021

The selection through entrance exam will be done on the basis of the marks scored by a candidate in the online written entrance exam. Candidates can go through the exam pattern mentioned below for their reference-

Sections in the application form

The application form will be divided into 9 sections. These different sections are-

Personal Details and Bank Details: Applicant’s Name, Email, Mobile Number, Gender, Category, Date of Birth, Aadhar Card Number, Bank Account Number etc.

Academic Detail: Name of the class 12th Board, Roll Number, Year of Passing and Result status.

Merit-based course selection: If an applicant wishes to take admission through her Merit, then the applicant can fill any number of courses according to her eligibility status.

Entrance-based course selection: If an applicant wishes to take admission through the entrance exam, then the applicant can fill any number of courses according to her eligibility status.

Sports Quota: Applicants opting for admission through sports quota can select any sport of their choice. But, for each sport an additional fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged.

ECA Quota: Applicants opting for admission through ECA quota can select any activity of their choice. But, for each activity an additional fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged.

Document Upload: In this section, applicants will need to upload scanned documents required in the application form along with the photograph and signature.

Preview: Through this section, applicants can preview their application form and edit any information, if needed.

Payment: This section will divert the applicant to the payment portal where they’ll have to enter respective bank details and pay the required fee.
