National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for organizing Common University Entrance Test (CUET) every year. CUET previously known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate & postgraduate courses offered in all the participating institutions.
Every year, the CUET is held across 500 cities in India and abroad. The authority conducts CUET UG level & CUET PG level exams separately. The entrance test will be organized in a computer-based mode. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to submit their CUET Application form on or before the due date. CUET Eligibility Criteria
NTA has set some eligibility norms that candidates must satisfy before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria are as follows.
Applicant Students should have passed the 12th examination in the science stream from a recognized board.
There is no age bar for appearing in CUET Exam.
Candidate must be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal, or Bhutan.
CUET 2024 Application Form
The authority will release the application form for CUET UG & CUET PG exams separately. Candidates can apply for CUET Exam via online mode only. It is expected that the application form will be available in February 2024.
Applicants will be allowed to choose up to 10 subjects for giving the entrance exam. Multiple application form from a single candidate will not be entertained by the authority. Candidates are advised to provide the correct details during the registration.
While filling out the online application form, applicants will also have to choose three exam city preferences as per their choice. Candidates have to upload passport-size photographs and signatures in the given format.
Verify the details carefully before final submission. Candidates have to pay the application fee as per the number of courses selected by them. The payment can be made online via debit/credit card, Net Banking, e-wallet and UPI.

CUET Examination Pattern
CUET 2024 exam will be conducted online mode only. The pattern varies from Slot I and Slot II. The entrance test will consist of multiple-choice type questions. CUET UG will be organized in 13 different languages i.e., English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Odia, & Urdu.
The exam will include 4 different sections namely Section 1A, Section 1B, General Test, and domain-specific subjects. The paper will consist of 100 questions in which each question carries five marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong response.

CUET Admission Process 2024
CUET Admit card
The authority will release the admit card to those candidates only who have successfully submitted their online application form. It is expected that CUET UG 2024 hall ticket will be released in May 2024 via online mode. Candidates have to bring their admit card along with one valid ID proof at the examination centre.
CUET Answer Keys
National Testing Agency will initially release the CUET provisional answer keys within a month of conducting the exam. Candidates can check the answer key online from the official website of CUET.
In case of any issues with the provisional answer key, the candidate will be allowed to raise objections by submitting Rs. 200/- as non-refundable fee. Candidate can raise the objection in between the specified period. After that period, the authority will release the CUET final answer keys.
With the help of the answer keys, students can calculate their estimated scores and rank before the announcement of the result.
CUET 2024 Result
NTA will announce the CUET UG 2024 result online in the form of scorecards. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their results by login the official website with their registration number and password.
The CUET result will comprise details like candidates’ names & roll numbers, section-wise and overall scores and CUET cutoff. Candidates should download the CUET UG 2024 scorecard for future reference.
CUET Counselling 2024
The process of CUET 2024 counselling will be organized by the participating institutes separately. After the announcement of the result, each institute will release a separate merit list of qualifying candidates based on their scorecard.
Candidates have to participate in the counselling round which will be held in online mode. Documents verification and seat allotment will be done at the time of counselling.
