The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will organize the COMEDK entrance exam every year. It is a National-level entrance exam conducted for admission in the UG-level Engineering, Architecture courses in the Karnataka state. Admission to B.Arch courses will be based on NATA scores.
The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) is computer-based test and is open to all eligible candidates in India. Admission will be offered to approx. 190 unaided private engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka based on COMEDK UGET scores via an online counselling process.
Candidates are allowed to apply for more than once for the UGET exam, but the email address once used for applying the exam cannot be used again. It is expected that the COMEDK UGET 2024 online application form will be available in January 2024.

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates appearing for the UGET exam must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria in detail will be published online in pdf format. Below, candidates can check some important eligibility conditions related to the exam.
For UG Engineering (B.Tech) Courses
Candidates must have cleared the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board. They must pass the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a mandatory subject.
Candidates from the general category must have secured at least 45% marks and 40% for SC, ST, and OBC categories from the qualifying exam.
Diploma candidates will not be eligible to appear in the exam as there are no lateral entry admissions.
For UG Architecture (B. Arch) Courses
Candidates must have passed a second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board.
Applicants must achieve a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for ST/ SC & OBC category) aggregate in the 10+2 level exam and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (45% marks for ST/ SC & OBC of Karnataka) in 2nd PUC or 10+2 Level from a recognized board.
A valid NATA score is mandatory for admission to the Architecture programme. There will be no separate entrance exam conducted by the authority for B.Arch courses.
COMEDK UGET Application Form 2024
The authority will release the application form most likely in January 2024 through online mode. To apply for the UGET entrance exam, candidates need to visit the official website link of COMEDK.
Fill in the details in the registration form such as name, contact number, email id, etc.
A user id and password will be generated after the successful completion of the application process. Login using these allotted details.

COMEDK UGET Exam 2024 Admit Card
The authority will release the admit card in May 2024 through online mode. The admit card will be released for those candidates only who completed the registration process. Candidates will be able to download the admit card using their registration number and password.
It is an important document to carry at the examination centre. The admit card will contain the details like the candidate’s name, date and time of exam, roll number, venue, etc. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without a valid admit card.
COMEDK UGET Answer Key
The COMEDK UGET 2024 answer key will be released tentatively in May 2024. The authority will publish the answer key in pdf format through online mode. The answer key will comprise the right answer to the questions asked in the UGET entrance exam.
With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their estimated score. The candidates will be allowed to raise an objection against the answer key if they found any discrepancy in the provisional answer key. A final answer key will be released after considering all the objections.
COMEDK UGET Result 2024
The authority will announce the result in May 2024 through online mode only. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check the COMEDK Result 2024 from the official website by entering their registration number and date of birth.
A merit list will also be prepared based on the candidate’s score obtained in the entrance exam. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the result and keep it safe till the admission process is over.
COMEDK UGET Counselling 2024
The process of counselling will be held after the announcement of the result. Candidates who clear the exam with the required COMEDK Cutoff marks will be shortlisted for counselling process. The qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process as per their merit rank.
It will be organized in online mode in July 2024. The process of counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds depending upon the availability of seats after each round of counselling. At the time of counselling, candidates will be required to carry their original documents for verification.
