Eligibility criteria
Candidates must satisfy the important eligibility norms before applying for admission to Central University of Orissa Admission. The basic eligibility criteria of Central University of Orissa 2021 admission are given below:
- For MA Programme (all departments)
Candidates should have done graduation degree in the relevant subject with minimum qualifying marks from a recognized University /Institution. There will be relaxation in marks given to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category.
- For M.Phil programme (all departments)
Candidate must have done Post-Graduation in relevant field with minimum qualifying marks from a recognized University/ Institution. Relaxation in marks will be given to candidates from SC/ST/PwD category.
- For Phd programme (all departments)
Applicants should possess Post-Graduation degree in the related stream from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum qualifying marks. Relaxation in marks will be given to reserved category candidates.

Online Application Mode:
The university will allow Online Registration/ Application process for admission into various under graduate, Post graduate and Research courses through official portal i.e. www.cuo.ac.in as per the prescribed schedule.

Offline Application Mode
In case of offline application, candidates can purchase the Central University of Orissa Admission application form by sending a challan of SBI for Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category). Candidates have to apply separately for each programme along with the specified fee.

Payment of fee

Admit card
The university will issue the Admit Card for entrance test through online mode only as per the schedule date. The admit card also known as hall ticket will be issued to those applicants only who have successfully submitted their application form and fees on time and correctly. Applicants can download their admit card from the official website. While coming to the examination center candidates should bring their admit card.
Selection Process
The selection of applicants for admission to various undergraduate, post graduate and research programmes will be done on the basis of their performance in the common written entrance examination followed by viva-voce / Group Discussion / Personal Interview.
