BVP CET B.Sc. Nursing 2022

Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune will manage the admission process of BVP B.Sc. Nursing. In order to select the candidates for admission, the university will conduct the BVP CET B.Sc Nursing 2021 entrance exam. Please note that this entrance test for B.Sc Nursing is same as that for B.Tech, B.Pharm/ Pharm D. The candidates looking to appear of the exam need to submit an online application form before the last date. In order to get the admission, the age of a candidate should be more than 17 years as on 31^st December 2022.

It is expected that the university will conduct this exam in the month of May 2022. Please note that this is a national level entrance exam that will take place at around 57 cities across India.

• The exam will take place in online mode in which the candidates have to answer 200 questions within 3 hours.
• In order to apply, the age of a candidate should be more than 17 years as on 31^st December 2022
• Every candidate need to have at least 45% marks in PCB subject group (40% for SC/ ST candidates)

• The admission will be granted solely on the basis of mark scored by the candidate out of 200.
• In case two candidates have equal marks then the applicant with more marks in Biology will get preference.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BVP B.Sc. Nursing admission 2022 is as follows

Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India. However, 15% seats are also available for Foreign/ NRI/ OCI/ PIO/ Institutional Quota candidates but they have a different application and admission process.

Age limit

• It is compulsory that the candidate must be older than 17 years as on 31^st December 2022

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must clear the class 12^th or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
• It is mandatory to have at least 45% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and Biology subject (40% for SC/ ST candidates)
• The candidates who will appear for the 12^th class exam or equivalent in the year 2022 can also apply.

Application Form

• A candidate looking to appear for the BVP CET entrance exam 2022 for B.Sc. Nursing needs to apply in online mode.
• The application form will available at the website of the University i.e. www.bvuniversity.edu.in
• To initiate the application process, the students need to register and create login credentials for themselves.
• Then, the applicants need to login and fill details in the BVP CET application form 2021 for B.Sc. Nursing.
• The candidate should enter all the necessary details (education, contact and personal) in a very accurate manner.
• After entering the details, the applicants may upload the scanned images of their recent passport size photograph and signature.
• It is important to enter the detail and upload the images correctly because the university will not provide any correction window for editing the application.
• Finally, if all the details and images are correct, the candidate may submit the application form.
• After submitting the form, the candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee. The authorities will not consider any application without the submission of the application fee.
• Don’t forget to take a printout of the application form and application fee receipt for future reference.

Application Fee

• The application fee that every candidate need to pay in order to apply is Rs. 1100/-
• All the candidates have to pay the same application fee regardless of their categories.
• Candidates can pay the application or entrance test fee in online mode using credit card/ debit card/ Internet Banking.

The candidates aspiring to appear for the BVP CET B.SC nursing exam 2022 need to follow the syllabus below:

Physics: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic waves, Optics, Electronic Devices, Oscillations and waves, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Thermodynamics, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Laws of Motion, etc.

Chemistry: Structure of Atom, Some basic concepts of chemistry, Structure of atom, classification of elements and Periodicity in properties, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, Hydrocarbons, Solid state, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, d and f Block elements, Coordination Compounds, Alcohols, phenols and Ethers, etc.

Biology: Diversity in living world, Structural organisation in animals and plants,cell structure and function, plant physiology, human physiology, reproduction, genetics and evolution, biology and human welfare, ecology and environment, biotechnology and its applications, etc.

Admit Card

• The admit card in order to appear for the BVP CET B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam 2022 will available in online mode.
• To download the admit card, the candidate needs to visit the official website and log into their account.
• Please note that the university will release the admit card about 7 days prior to the date of the exam.
• Along with the admit card, every candidate has to carry one photo identity proof to the admit card like Driving license, Voter ID card, Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.
• The schedule of exam will appear on the admit card.
• The authorities will not allow a candidate to appear for the exam without admit card, and photo ID proof (in original).

Result

• BVP CET B.Sc. Nursing Result 2022 along with the merit list will available in online mode through the official website.
• Please note that the merit list will be based on the total marks secured the candidates out of 200.
• A separate merit list will be released for the foreign/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit candidates
• The candidate will able to check the result and merit list on the official website as well as on the notice board of the colleges.

Counselling

• The successful candidates have to take part in the BVP CET B.Sc. Nursing counselling 2022 in order to get the admission.
• Please note that the university will grant on spot admission at the time of counselling.
• The counselling process will take place at all three colleges of nursing i.e. Pune, Sangli, Mumbai.
• In case a candidate fails to report for the counselling then his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
• The authorities will provide the admission only after the proper verification of documents.
• At the time of counselling, the candidates have to carry the following documents in original and at least two photocopies of the same for verification.
