NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

NMAT Eligibility Criteria: NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) for offering admission into MBA or other graduate management degree courses. Candidates willing to appear in NMAT examination must check the NMAT eligibility criteria prescribed by GMAC. NMAT application process is possible to be commenced from August 2022 and applicants who are eligible as per the official NMAT eligibility criteria should now apply for the exam.

For MBA/MBA HR (Mumbai Campus):

  • Candidates who want to apply for MBA and MBA HR programme in Mumbai campus, they have to qualify a full time Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidate needs to score at least 50% marks in aggregate in the first attempt.

For MBA Pharmaceutical Management (Mumbai Campus)

  • Candidate who desire to enroll MBA Pharmaceutical Management course in Mumbai campus, must have qualified their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, BDS, MBBS, BAMS, B.Sc., BHMS, and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a state or centrally recognized university. They need to obtain minimum of 50% aggregate marks in first attempt.
  • Candidates having post graduate degree in Psychology, Economics and Sociology are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who hold B.E./B.Tech/Bio-Medical undergraduate degree can also apply for the test.
  • Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are also eligible to apply for this exam.

For PGDM (Bengaluru Campus), PGDBM (Hyderabad Campus)

  • Candidate seeking admission in PGDM programme in Bangalore and Hyderabad campus must have done a full time Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any stream from a state or centrally recognized university.
  • Aspirants should have obtained minimum 50% marks aggregate.

Important points related NMAT Eligibility Criteria

  1. For all full-time programs, candidates possessing two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be given preference.
  2. Candidates appearing of final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree may also apply.
  3. In case, a university grants CGPA/ grades rather than marks, the applicant should produce relevant certificate/documents approved by the university, for equalization and conversion of the grades into marks.
  4. An applicant needs to submit mark sheets of all the years during the time of document verification in the admission process. Only combined mark sheets would be considered.
