BIT, Mesra Ph.D Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
In order to become eligible for admission to PhD program offered by BIT, Mesra candidates must meet with following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should hold M.Phil/master’s degree in Technology / Engineering/ Management/ Pharmacy/Architecture or its equivalent with securing 60% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates and full-time sponsored candidates having three years of professional experience).
- Candidates should have B.E/ B.Tech /B.Sc Engineering/ B.Pharm./ B.Arch./M.B.B.S degree with 70% of marks (55% for SC/ST category candidates and 50% for full-time sponsored candidates having three years of professional experience).
BIT Mesra PhD Admission 2022 Application Form: How to Apply?
- Candidates need to apply in online mode from the official website.
- After filling up the application form, the same should be sent along with two recent color photograph and photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets and demand draft of Rs. 2500/- (Rs. 1500/- for SC/ST category candidates) to the office of Dean, Admissions & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215.
- The application fee should be in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi.
BIT Mesra Selection Procedure for PhD Program
Candidate’s selection will be on the basis of their performance in written exam, interview and previous academic record. Candidates who will secure the specified marks in the aptitude test and subject test are eligible for admission.
