Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) organizes a state- level entrance exam named Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) for admission to the polytechnic engineering diploma courses.
DCECE 2024 will be conducted in a pen and paper mode. DCECE organizes two different examinations for different courses namely Polytechnic Engineering (PE) for admission to engineering courses and Part-time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE) for admission to part-time diploma engineering courses.
Candidates seeking admission to diploma courses in Engineering and non-engineering programs in the state of Bihar can apply for the Bihar Polytechnic entrance exam. Bihar Polytechnic 2024 admission entrance test will be conducted in June 2024 (tentatively).

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria to appear in Bihar Polytechnic Admission Entrance Test.
Domicile
Indian Nationals whose parents are permanent resident of Bihar/or parents are holding refugee status in the state /or parents are employed with the central government in Bihar/ or parents are employed with the Bihar government/ or parents works with the UN and currently posted in the state are eligible to apply.

Bihar Polytechnic 2024 Application Form
The application form for the Bihar Polytechnic Admission test will be available online mode on the official website of conducting body. The filling of the application form will commence in April 2024 (tentatively). The DCECE Application process will include various stages such as registration, filling out the online application form, editing the details, document uploading, and fee payment etc.
At first, candidates will have to complete the online registration process. Once the registration is done, candidates need to fill in their personal details, education qualification, and other important details on the online application form.
Applicants have to upload scanned images of the photograph and signature as per the given dimensions. Candidates should review the details carefully before clicking on the submission button.
After submitting the details, candidates have to pay the required application fee. The payment of the DCECE application fee can be made via e-challan or through net banking/credit/debit cards.
Candidates should take the printout of the application form (Part A & Part B) for future reference.
Admit Card
The Bihar Polytechnic admit card 2024 for all the courses will be made available online on the official website. It is expected that the authority will release the DCECE Admit card in June 2024. Candidates can download the admit card by providing their login details including application number, password, or date of birth.
Candidates should take the printout of admit card and bring the same to the examination centre. Candidates without a valid admit card will not be allowed to sit for the DCECE 2024 exam.
Bihar Polytechnic Examination Pattern
The authority has prescribed DCECE exam pattern. Candidates must go through the examination pattern properly and prepare accordingly for the exam. The test will be held in offline mode and consist of a total of 90 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. The paper will be held in English and Hindi language.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will announce the DCECE exam 2024 result online on its official website. Candidates who will successfully appear in the exam can check their results for Bihar Polytechnic by login using their email address and password.
The authority will also release a separate merit list of qualified candidates based on DCECE 2024 results. Candidates should download their Bihar Polytechnic scorecards for future reference.
Bihar Polytechnic Counselling
The authority will invite qualified candidates to attend the e-counselling process based on their DCECE merit rank. The counselling will be organized in online mode. The process of counselling will include registration, document verification, filling and locking of course choice, etc.
