The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will conduct the entrance exam for selection. BCECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria are prescribed for appearing in BCECE 2024:
Domicile:
- Those candidates whose parents are permanent residents of Bihar are eligible.
- Applicants whose parents are registered refugees in Bihar can apply too.
- The candidates whose parents are from other states but are employed by the Govt. of Bihar are also eligible.
- The applicants whose parents are employees of Bihar prior to division whose cadre has not been divided yet and who are posted in Bihar or Jharkhand can apply.
- Candidates whose parents are employees of Govt. of India posted in Bihar are eligible.
Age criteria:
- There is no age limit for B.Tech courses.
- For medical and B.Pharma courses, the age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years as on 31st December 2024.
- The age of the candidates for agricultural courses should not be less than 16 years as on 31st August 2024.
Academic criteria:
- B.Tech (Agriculture): The candidates need to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture with at least 45% marks.
- B.Tech (Information Technology/ Computer Science & Engineering): The candidates with I.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology are eligible.
- B.Pharm: The candidates need to clear their class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
- B.Sc Nursing: A pass in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology scoring at least 45% marks in aggregate is required.
- Medical and related courses: Applicants who have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible.
For Agricultural courses:
- B.Sc (Agriculture/ Horticulture): A degree in I.Sc with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics/ Biology is required.
- Bachelor of Agriculture/ Horticulture: The candidates should hold a degree in I.Sc in Agriculture with Physics, Biology, and Agricultural Science or Physics, Chemistry, and Agricultural Science or Mathematics, Biology, and Agricultural Science or Mathematics, Chemistry, and Agricultural Science.
- B.Tech (Dairy Technology): The candidates with I.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible.
- B.F.Sc: The candidates with I.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible.
Medical fitness:
- The candidate must be medically fit.

BCECE Application Form 2024
The board will release the BCECE 2024 application form through online mode. Candidates can obtain the application form by visiting the official website of the board bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
- At first, the candidates will have to fill out a registration form by providing details like name, mobile number, email address, password, etc.
- After the completion of the registration process, the candidates can log in to their accounts and obtain the application form.
- To log in to the account, the candidates need to provide the email address and password created during registration.
- In the application form, the candidates need to provide the rest personal and academic details.
- Scanned copies of photographs and signatures of the candidates are also required in the application form.
- After providing all the details as asked in the form, the candidates should submit it with the prescribed application fee.

BCECE 2024 Admit Card
- The admit card for the entrance test can be downloaded from the official website of the board.
- Candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it with them to the exam center.
- A valid identity proof along with the admit card should also be taken to the examination center.
- In case of absence of these documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Candidates should keep their admit card safe till the complete process of admission is over.

- The result of the entrance exam will be declared through online mode as per the schedule decided by the authority.
