Banda University is Agricultural and Technological was brought in to existence as a full-fledged state university and is the First Agricultural University of Bundelkhand Region. The University was established with an intention for development of agriculture and other allied sectors in Uttar Pradesh. The University undertakes Trinity concept under its gamut which focuses on research, development and teaching. It is an extension for development of agriculture and allied sectors of the state that enhances food security and uplifts socio-economic status of inhabitants.

Admission Criteria at Banda University of Agriculture and Technology
The admission of the students is done on the basis of Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test. Students applying for BS.c (hons) course ought to appear in the exam and score better marks to enroll with the college. In addition students must have completed their 10+2 in 50% marks.
